In two weeks I have become a regular at this place. Great Indian food seems hard to find in the east side...at least that is if you're looking for good service and no snooty wait staff. I have loved everything I've tried there. Don't let the location fool you...its in a strip mall, but it's a little piece of heaven. Pros: Food, price, staff. Try the two person dinner deals. Cons: Strip mall location. more

Hidden gem in Silverlake 12/2/2005

Don't let the location fool you. As a displaced New Yorker, I can tell you that this is some of the best indian food in LA. The Ahi Tandoori is delicious for those that don't like red meat, and they do an excellent job with all the standards. Service is very warm and attentive. Highly recommended! GREAT UNKNOWN INDIAN RESTAURANT 6/10/2005

I have had their food delivered. I have eaten lunch there. I have eaten dinner there. FINALLY and Indian restaurant in my neighborhood. No more driving across the city in search of Indian food. Now I can walk there! The place is very romantic at night. They decorated it great. You will not believe what the womens restrooom looks like; you will not believe it! EVERYTHING I have ordered has been great! Best lamb I have ever had! Get the Tikka appetizer; it has everything! EVERYTHING is good. Great for vegetarians too. The only negative thing is that it is in the corner of a mini-mall. No signs; word-of-mouth. Pros: FOOD, VALUE, SERVICE Cons: PARKING LOT more
