I am a customer of AGCO and have been for a dozen or more years. They have always treated me fairly, their prices are reasonable, they explain what is wrong and always fix the problem. Never any sales pitch just honest advice that I trust.\r \r Reading the review about the person with the emergency amazes me. Every person with a broken car is an emergency. Do they think the shop should drop the service on everyone else to work on their vehicle? At times I have had to wait a few days for an appointment with AGCO. I consider this simply a successful business; they have other customers and I understand. Going to a fine restaurant, I expect to need reservations. For quality work and honest service this is the place to go in Baton Rouge. \r more

I had the unfortunate need to have the transmission replaced in my 2000 Honda Odyssey while traveling through B.R. The guys at AGCO were very patient and explained the problems and all of the available options to me. I was impressed with the professionalism of their business and the fact that they explained some of the repairs were not immediately necessary and could be done by my mechanic of choice from my home town. A problem arose from the repairs a few weeks later, but they were very quick to assume responsibility and correct the problem in a timely manner. If i ever again have the pleasure of my car breaking down in B.R. again, I will definitely use AGCO. more

I will not recommend. They might be great, honest and so on.... But if they cant help you when you need them(Emergency).... What's the point. I had a engine light came on and not accelerating and they said take an appointment and come back after next week..... This is ridiculous..... more

I don't know anything about cars. I took my Toyota to the dealer for an oil change and when they told me I needed a load of work, I was going to have it done. A friend told me to get a second opinion and recommended AGCO. They checked the vehicle and showed me that much of the work on the list was not needed. They also found a flat spare tire, the dealership never mentioned. That's a big deal for me, I am on the road a lot. This was my first visit to AGCO by wont be my last. Their honest approach to business is refreshing and the work they did for me was first class. more

I travel every day and put on so many miles that its just not feasible to change cars when the mileage gets high. I am just so glad I fond AGCO to help keep me going. They worked within my budget, told me what HAD to be done to keep me safe, what items did not need to be done and what items could wait until I could afford it. AND they charge by the hour instead of by the scheduled fees found in the book. Their hourly rate are half the industry standard. Their shop is neat and clean. As a single woman with an older car, I need someone to keep my car going. Just a great relief to have found AGCO, Thank you AGCO. more

Before my husband died, he always took our cars to AGCO for service. After his death I continued to do the same and have been delighted by the service. They explain things so that I can understand and never push me to buy anything. I feel I can trust them and that is very important to me. I have referred several friends to their service and have always heard the same things from them. A very special place.
