I was thrilled to discover Dr. Mojan Afzali nine years ago. She is an excellent dentist-professional, cautious and gentle. What pleases me the most is that she does not push her patients into having dental work done unless absolutely necessary. more

Excellent Doctor, excellent staff, excellent and super clean 1/4/2012

Recently an associate recommended I go to this office (Lees Summit Family Dentistry) when I told her I had a bad tooth ache and my cheek was beginning to swell up. I'm glad she did. They saw me the same day, stopped the pain, and put in a temporary filling. I went back several times for a root canal and a crown. Excellent office, excellent doctor and excellent staff. I give them five stars+. more

THE BEST! DENTIST! 12/28/2011

I will forever be grateful to Dr. Afzali and entrusting my needs to her care. I had filling, Crowns and Bridges work done and I am pleased with my overall dental health. What I have appreciated most about Dr. Afzali is her patience and continual emphasis on follow-up care to prevent future problems. more

Dr. Afzali has been my Dentist for 12 years and has done tons of excellent work on my teeth. She is caring, knowledgeable, honest, thorough, and Professional. It's a pleasure being her patient in every sense of the word. Have always been Great group of staff! more

Dr. Afzali was caring, thorough, patient, and professional before, during, and after my crown procedure. Her office is delightful to deal with. I am very pleased with her and the staff. I get wonderful treatment. God bless them. more

Knowledgeable, honest and highly recommended 12/14/2011

When it comes to teeth, I think I have the most sensitive teeth in the world. However, Dr. Afzali does a great job making sure that I'm comfortable and pain free. The equipment in the office is state of the art and makes for quick visits. more

THE BEST!! 12/11/2011

Dr. Afzali office is great I've searched far and wide for a great dentistry practice in the Kansas City area and finally find one that suits my high standards. Dr. Afzali is super friendly and is a great practitioner who knows his stuff! The office staff is competent and very kind. Their equipment and office is very up to date. I enjoy going to the dentist now and am VERY pleased with their practice. more

Dr. Mojan Afzali is Best Dentist! 12/3/2011

Dr. Afzali and her staff are professional, knowledgeable, experienced, thorough, very clean, modern, high tech, very caring, and friendly; the best I've ever been to. They inform you of what they're doing, teach you what you need to know, answer questions, and tell you what you need to do differently in a nice and respectful way. I'm not one that dislikes dentists, but I've felt uncomfortable under the hands of many dentists -- not here. more

World class, excellent care, very knowledgeable 11/15/2011

""When I arrived for my appointment/initial exam the receptionists seemed pleasant and helpful as they both worked together to get my initial paperwork complete. I was then promptly taken to full mouth x-rays. The tech who took the x-rays was quick and really nice. Even though I said I was accustomed to dental work and the x-rays would be of little discomfort, she kept checking to make sure I was ok. more

My teeth have never felt better. NO MORE CAVATIES! 10/30/2011

I couldn't disagree with the last review more. I don't go to the dentist for a spa treatment. Going to the dentist is never something one looks forward to. Even a simple cleaning is somewhat uncomfortable. The reality is that if your having problems with your teeth it's likely there is something wrong with them and sometimes it's hard to hear the consequences of how poorly we maintain our teeth. more

Assembly Line Dentistry 6/7/2010

I have to say this dentist is very knowlegable and technically proficient. Only go here if you want to be treated like a slab of meat though. Got my teeth cleaned here today, the dental assistant was nice - then I waited in silence for 1/2 an hour for the dentist. Not even an introduction when she walked in. 1st thing she cracked me on the head with the overhead light with a mumbled apology. Followed by an uncomfortable poking and prodding examination then a very uncomfortable cleaning accompanied by a stream of demeaning comments about the condition of my teeth. Needless to say, I'm on the search for another dentist. Pros: Clean Place Cons: See Below more
