Heidi Day, L.Ac., EAMP, was born and raised in Switzerland. In 1995, after moving to the U.S. and discovering her passion for alternative medicine and wellness, she studied Oriental Medicine at the Northwest Institute of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NIAOM). She furthered her training in 2003 to study Microacupuncture for degenerative eye diseases such as Macular Degeneration, Diabetic Retinopathy, Retinitis Pigmentosa, and Glaucoma with Dr. Per Otte in Arkansas and has since incorporated this specialty into her practice with great success! A favorite area of expertise is women's health care, focusing on changes that occur throughout the female cycle: creating and maintaining hormonal balance, normalizing gynecological health, and menopause. Heidi has been in practice in Edmonds, Washington as a licensed Acupuncturist and East Asian Medicine Practitioner since 1999..
