This place is a scam! They know they can get all your money being the only vet opened after hours in the area. They did absolutely nothing for my puppy. Poor puppy had a fracture and the stupid vet ""couldn't"" tell. You went to school for those things how can't you tell what a fracture looks like. Then don't even get me started with the ignorant ladies at the desk. They tell me my dog will be very comfortable leaving and my puppy comes out screaming. Then they try to argue with you when they have no knowledge about animal care. I never will go back and encourage everyone else to go elsewhere. Big waste of money and didn't help my animal at all. more

I went there to put our puppy to sleep it had water on the brain and the people that work there made a really tragic and sad event a thousand times worse no compassion just make sure you pay up front before u get too emotional thats what they care about the almighty dollar= thats their bottom line heartless... after taking my puppy to look at her without us we had to wait forever it seemed and listen to her yelping and crying just more suffering we weren't allowed to be with her while she was bring examined and then after she was given the shot they wanted to know if we wanted a impression of her pawprint and then added its free! I say shove it you heartless s.o.b.s\r more

WAY TO GO 6/8/2011

I would rate you LESS than one star if I could. And PLEASE spare me the *funds* end of your line of crap, as you drive to work in your nice rig from your nice home. Angels on earth brought you an innocent victim and you turned her away. You ignored her obvious pain and cries because people didnt have green pieces of paper to give you to relieve her. You went home and slept content knowing inside a beautiful gift of the universe needed you. You should be ashamed of yourself. I hope your soul is haunted by your ignorance for life, and I thank the TRUE angels on earth that got her away from you and do their best to save her. more

Thankful they are in the community 8/7/2010

I agree also, that the cost of services are high. However, I do not put a price on the care of my pets in an emergency. I am grateful that this clinic is available to the community. I have taken two different animals there over the years. Please don't forget that "human" specialists and after hours centers are expensive, too. The only difference is that we only have to pay a co-pay or a discounted dollar amount after our insurance takes care of the bulk of the bill. I have left there and "complained" about the cost, but I still go back if necessary. If the price of after hours care bothers people so much, then they should purchase veterinary insurance for their pet and receive some form of reimbursement. more

Take Responsibility 6/2/2010

I notice that all the reviews talking trash about this clinic come down to one thing in the end and that is the financial aspect of the visit. Wake up folks, nothing in life is free, and the old adage, you get what you pay for is true. We all go to jobs every day so that we can pay our bills. If the Emergency Clinic didn?t charge you, their employees would not get paid. From my experience this is a state of the art facility and they are prepared to deal with emergencies that most regular clinics may not be able to handle.\r The employees at this clinic are highly educated and take pride in what they do.\r Animal Emergency Clinic has always shown compassion and been fair in treating my animals. These people work crazy hours and sacrifice a lot to help us when we need them. They do not cause the problems we bring to them. They did not cause our pets to be critically ill or injured. They do however offer us solutions to fix the problems and yes those solutions will cost us money. more

Wake up People!!! 7/22/2009

People need to realize that Emergency Clinics are there for your convenience! Meaning they have a much larger overhead than your family. vet. It costs money to staff these places, these people work every night and every holiday....they are away from there family to help your pet! Now you tell me that they are "in it for the money." I think not! If you can't afford your pets care, then you shouldn't have one! If you didn't have health insurance for yourself then you'd be paying five times the amount of money that you pay at an animal clinic....i'm sick of reading..."they cost more than my doctor." I suggest that next time you check you invoice fully when you get it from the hospitals...even if you don't have to pay it. Gary: What happened Sunday? If your dog wasn't getting better why didn't you get it checked again...if not here then at least somewhere else???? I have all the respect in the world for people that work at emergency clinics....they work terrible hours for not e more

Very helpful and caring 11/26/2005

When my aunt's dog went down in her yard after hours on a Saturday, they rushed her to the Animal Hospital. She thought for sure she would have to put the dog down, but they were able to save her. That was 2 or 3 years ago. She is now 11 years old and for a great dane, that is awesome. Ashley never would have made it if it wasn't for the very knowledgable, caring staff at the anilmal hospital. more

I am so happy I found this place. 11/15/2005

I am so happy I found this place. My poor puppy was sick and I had no clue what to do. I called a few places that werent much help but then I called them. They took the time to listen to me and calm me down. When I brought my dog in the next morning they were very happy to see me. They made sure that everything went well the night before. They treated my puppy like it was their own. more

Extremely Helpful 11/9/2005

Very helpful staff at this place. When our dog was ill, we called them and they were able to tell us what to do over the phone. No charge, no wasted trip. They were very polite and willing to talk to us, never felt like they were rushing us off the phone or anything. AWESOME! more
