How can you not love an Affy Tapple? Special message to the makers of these sweet treats: I LOVE YOU!!! These little caramel apples have been part of my life, and most of your lives, for many years. Every time I see one I have to reflect on those glory days of school fund raisers where we sold them for a quarter a piece. You could just see the joy in the kids' eyes when it was "Affy Tapple Day" at school. I still love them to this day. The next time you are shopping around, look for these classics and munch on a couple just for the memoriess :) more

Great For Your Teeth; Not 3/29/2006

They may not be great for your teeth, but getting one will bring back childhood memories and hopefully warm your heart. Does anyone want to share stories about eating them in gradeschool? Or maybe you had to sell them to raise money for a local charity. Maybe you only eat one around Oct.31st. I personally have fond memories assiociated with this carmel covered apple, I also try to get at least a few each year at the store to create new memories with loved ones. I remember when this company used to be on north Clark St. Hey you actually get vitamin C from one of these too! more

Candy apples - yum 1/13/2006

Ever wonder where they make those delicious confection-covered apples? Here! You can come buy them in bulk for group activities. They have it very organized if you come order them first, and you can just pick them up from the loading dock outside. The location also sells bagels, not exactly sure why. more
