After listening to the sales pitch for this mover & hiring them for an out-of-state move, imagine our chagrin to discover that every claim made to us was false. They loaded our furniture in the rain & unloaded it 2 days later in the rain. We had been told by the salesperson this would not happen & the movers would ""wait"" until the rain stopped. The ""owner"" (at least he claimed he was the owner) said that was down time & they would unload 2 trucks containing our possessions anyway, which they did.
After I noticed some damage on a china hutch & called it to their attention, the driver/owner appeared & used a special pen to cover the scratches, but denied the gouges were made by them. In a very surly & disrespectful manner, he indicated they had done over 7,000 moves & had never had a complaint. Further, he refused to unload the 2nd truck until we wrote a check, which we did; however, the entire contents including the furniture & boxes were dumped in our garage & they refused to place anything where we requested them to.
Now that it's been 3 weeks & I've had a chance to dust, polish & go over every piece, I can't believe all of the gouges & scratches to almost every piece moved. Even a new daybed in a brushed steel frame is completely scratched. Apparently, almost no pads were used & the damage looks like it is the result of everything rubbing against each other.
If you care about your furniture, do yourself a HUGE favor & don't fall for the sales pitch! Between the damaged furniture & the unprofessional ""attitude"", it's not worth using these people.
