They have extremely high standards 5/20/2016

I wasn’t expecting much from Affordable Transfer Co given how low their quote was. But they surprised me. The movers, all four of them, arrived on time with all the right tools. The movers seemed quite unshaken by the prospect of having to carry heavy furniture down from my 3rd floor walkup apartment. They tackled the job head on and carried everything downstairs quite comfortably. I was very impressed seeing how efficient these men were. They made the delivery on the promised date and nothing was broken or damaged. I got amazing services for the little money I paid. more

After Affordable Transfer Co moved all my stuffs last month, I figured I really need to write them a review. The fact that I am here pretty much proves that I was very pleased. These guys are amazing. I have hardly seen such hard workers before. All three movers were very creative with the packing process and very efficient at taking the pieces out of my house through a tricky front door. I wasn’t fully convinced of their efficiency till all my stuffs were delivered in perfect condition. I got lucky with this company and I’m happily writing a recommendation for them. more

Fantastic moving company 5/13/2016

What can I say about Affordable Transfer Co? This company is just outstanding. I was supposed to move last month. At the last moment, my moving date got postponed and frankly, they were the only company who could fit me in given the time constraints. Now, about their efficiency, where do I begin? The crew arrived right on time, even though I was actually expecting them to arrive late. They were so efficient that all the packing and loading was done in a matter of hours. They used a lot of packing materials though. But that is not even issue given how well all my valuables traveled. There was not even a single scratch on any of them. A move that could have gone so wrong turned out to be a treat only because of these movers. more

When we decided that it was time to move for a better job and higher salary, I had no doubt in my mind that I was hiring Affordable Transfer Co to handle the move. This company has been in business for longer than a lot of fancy ones. Experience means a lot in this business. They were very apt at handling heavy furniture and delicate glassware. Most movers rush into packing and loading while these guys took their time but by no means were they slow. They delivered my belongings undamaged. I really have no complaints against them. more

Very accomplished moving company 5/6/2016

Affordable Transfer Co looked good on paper given how many years they have been in the business. So I hired them to handle my recent move. Their customer service was so friendly and resourceful and gave me a very reasonable quote. The movers arrived 5 minutes early! They were so efficient and organized. Their packing skills were so practiced and creative. Everything went very smoothly and they set off after just 2 hours. I received the delivery right on the date they promised. Everything traveled very well and I was very relieved to see that. more

Affordable Transfer Co is probably the best moving company you can find. Actually, their prices were the reason why I hired them in the first place. I wasn’t expecting them to be exceptional. But they surprised me in every way possible. The movers showed up on time. The crew was very strong and energetic. My third floor walkup apartment was a complete non-issue to them. They worked tirelessly for 2 hours to pack and load everything from my apartment. The delivery was made the next day and all my valuables were safe. This really is the best moving company I have come across. more

Reliable service! 4/29/2016

The storage units at Affordable Moving Systems are clean and the people there are very helpful. I don't have much interaction with them, but there are usually two fellow who are there and they have been able to answer any questions I may have. Their prices are about average for the area. I know I can come and go without a worry because they are trustworthy and we have never had any issues. more

Moving companies have a reputation of over estimating themselves. I hired Affordable Transfer Co for my move simply because I thought their quote was low and I could save some money. But they really delivered on the promise. Their men were very well trained. I do own some very expensive pieces of furniture and I was worried how they were going to handle them. But I was so relieved to find them taking extra care with my key pieces. I received the delivery on time and my belongings were in very good condition. I couldn’t have asked for more. more

Certainly dependable 4/20/2016

I could never truly rely on any moving companies that I had hired in the past. They made my hunch come true by doing sloppy jobs. But finally I found affordable transfer co. They performed just amazingly during my last move. Their quote was spot on, the movers were very capable and everything was very systematic. The best part about this move was the fact that none of my belongings was broken or damaged at the end of the move. My friends are always telling how they have been ripped off by the moving companies they hired. Now I know which company to suggest them. more

Avoid this carrier 4/20/2016

I picked Affordable movers for my move from NY to Fl both because of cost and a good prior experience. I was told that I would have to pay my bill before they would deliver my furniture. My bill included a charge of almost $800. for $100000. Of 0 deductible insurance. Upon unpacking we discovered numerous pieces of pottery were broken along with numerous other items damaged including a large screen tv. It has been 8 months since I submitted my claim and have received an offer of $130. for the damage. If you have a claim you cannot speak to a live person. Their "insurance" is a scam. These are not honest or honorable people. If you are moving anything of value I would avoid this company at all costs. more

Professional and inexpensive 4/12/2016

My wife and I are really enjoying our new home but thank goodness there are some good reminders of what life was like back in our house. Affordable Transfer Co made it all possible. Most movers were giving us such ridiculous quotes and I almost gave up on the relocating idea. That's when a workmate of my wife suggested this company. When I called them, they asked me about every detail and then gave me a very reasonable quote, to my surprise. They were very efficient at the actual moving process as well. Thank god for movers like them who make relocating possible for us regular Americans! more

Thanks for the service 4/6/2016

We are a family of four girls and me, their single mother. Having no men in the family has never really bothered me until it came to moving interstate. We let these men from Affordable Transfer Co into our home to pack, carry and load all our beautiful valuables. I must say, these men turned out to be nothing like my ex-husband, who drank all day and never lifted a finger. These men were like well-oiled machines. I was absolutely surprised seeing how professional they were. Not one of them tried to hit on my daughters. Their code of conduct really made me appreciate them. They were very competent at their job. more

If you are moving in the last weekend of a summer month, you are dead! All the top moving companies are booked months in advance and you are stuck with the crappy ones. I can go on and on about how amazing Affordable Transfer Co is but if they can’t accommodate you, it doesn’t mean anything. So I suggest that if you are moving, you hire them as early as possible. I had to call them about 10 times to find a vacant slot and I was calling them 3 weeks in advance. This company is amazing and so there is a long waiting list. So, plan your move ahead of time and book these movers if you love the things you own. more

Affordable Moving Systems were pretty good. There were some minor nicks to a couple of pieces of furniture but otherwise everything was okay. They completed the job within the time frame they gave me. I'd use them again if I had to move. more

My only reason for hiring Affordable Transfer Co was how cheaply they quoted. But for the same reason I wasn’t expecting a lot from them. When the men arrived, on time that is, they seemed a little lost. But within 10 minutes they found their groove. I suppose they were really accustoming themselves to the job ahead. From there on, things only got better and better. They packed up everything very quickly and started loading them to the truck waiting outside. They were done with the job in just 2 hours. They made the delivery the next day. I was so pleased to see all my belongings in great shape. more

Reliability is their virtue 3/21/2016

Essentially, I was relying on them with everything I own. So the movers from Affordable Transfer Co had to be really reliable. Since the moment they arrived, they were very polite and friendly. Their work was very efficient and they wasted no time while packing and loading all my belongings. By the time the men had left with my belongings, I was sure that my valuables were safe in their hands. They really did deliver everything unbroken or undamaged. I think this one is one of the last remaining bankable moving companies left out there. more

Since we made a phone call to them for a quote, they really have taken the responsibility off our shoulders. The movers maintained their timings and showed great skills. They were very well organized and worked in a systematic way. It was great to see that they delivered all our belongings without any damages just 2 days later. The crew could move a mountain 3/13/2016

I hired Affordable Transfer Co on the basis of the recommendation from a workmate. Their quote was very low. The movers arrived on time and were properly equipped. I couldn’t believe how easily they carried my furniture. It was a 3rd floor walkup and the stairs didn’t seem to bother them at all. I think these guys could carry a mountain if that was the task. They gave me a 5-day window for the delivery and they delivered on the 4th day. Nothing was broken or damaged. I have to thank those strong guys for making this perfect move possible. more

Disposable Swedish furniture is what I asked the movers from Affordable Transfer Co to move. I knew it was a hard job given how less-than-standard these pieces are and how susceptible to journey they are. But the movers managed to deliver each and every piece of my IKEA furniture in great condition to my new house. They didn’t even charge me ridiculously for it. I don’t know how that happened, but it happened. I’m definitely hiring them again. more

Simply wonderful 3/8/2016

When I was moving with Affordable Transfer Co from Miami, FL to Topeka, KS, I didn’t think that they would do this so easy and so fast. They moved my things in 7 days and they did it very professionally and without damaging anything. There were many delicate items, fragile furniture and plenty of glass and crystal ware but nothing suffered the transition. My budget wasn’t affected from the price in the end – they are affordable as well. more
