Thermostat wiring 2/10/2019

I had a plumber come out to identify why my thermostat control would not shut off the hot water in the kitchen & den. He told me the wiring was destroyed and would need to be replaced for $1,200. Kurt from Affordable confirmed the diagnosis but instead of rewiring he switched the wiring to another thermostat that worked for $300. I now have 2 zones instead of 3 but everything is comfortable and working. more

Great communication. The appointment was scheduled quickly. The employee called to let me know of his expected arrival time and I received an email also. The employee did a great job explaining the fix and cleaning up after. We will continue to use them. more

Hose bib replacement in cold winter weather 12/4/2018

Tony was very professional and knowledgeable. He explained everything he was doing as he was doing the service and I learned some things about my furnace and hot water heater. I appreciate his patience and he even took the time to pet one of the cats who was very interested in saying hello to him! more

Furnace and water heater repair 11/13/2018

We had Affordable repair our boiler and replace parts on our water heater..the work was done quickly and with no hassles. Kurt Hill and his partner were pleasant and explained everything, they also gave my husband a lesson in draining the water heater (while draining it ). The charge was very reasonable..I would definitely recommend this company more

Tony S. repaired our toilet as if it was in his own house. He was very knowledgeable and went the extra mile, making sure everything was repaired in the best fashion possible. Why 4 and not five stars? Affordable Service Plumbing can be a little pricey (but you get what you pay for). more

Affordable Service-Tony 3/2/2018

Tony was a tremendously big help dealing with my rental home in Rio Rancho. I was notified in the evening by my tenant that the water heater was not working. I live out of town and was unable to be there to help. I contacted several plumbers but none could come out that night. Affordable was fast and Tony contacted me within a few minutes. He explained everything to me over the phone and he kept his word was punctual, courteous and most of all extremely professional. Affordable you have a good one here!! more

Pipe repair on shower 12/26/2017

Tony S. called to let me know that here will be there ahead of schedule. Once he showed up and looked at the problem, he gathered his tools and went to work, in less than 30 minutes he was done. My shower is now working fine again. He seemed like a real pleasant guy, efficient, thats for sure. Thanks Tony! more

All around Great Work! 11/24/2017

As luck would have it, my water heater broke the day after Thanksgiving. Fortunately, I was able to contact Affordable Services and they were quick to come to and replace the water heater (even though it was considered a holiday). Bob and Chris were very polite and professional and completed the job in a high quality manner. I am very happy and pleased I used this company. I feel confident they will quickly respond if any issues arise and I look forward to working with them on future projects. Jim more
