We needed to have two water heaters installed into the attic of our home. . Pros: Quick work, nice looking work, friendly Cons: Did not perform to Code the work done

this Company, first made an appointment to fix my appliance after 4pm. I gave them my cell phone number at asked them to call me at that number. Then called at 6pm to another number, but not the one I had provided, to say they were not coming but would call first thing in the morning to reschedule for the following afternoon. After not hearing from them the following morning, I called them at which time I was told they had tried numerous phone numbers and did not get anyone! They told me they could not come out until tomorrow morning at which time I told them to forget it and I would find someone else to repair my appliance. Will not use again!! more

THEY RIP YOU OFF 4/5/2010

We called Affordable Quality Plumbing out to our home on 2/10/10. Our plumbing had been backed up and we needed our main line snaked. They told us of their special which was 99.00 to snake the line. Given their rating on BBB and special we did choose them to come out. Jimmy was the plumber who came out. He snaked the line and did clear the line. He was quick and did a good job. Then he said he needed to check our inside plumbing. I would have said no thanks but my husband thought he was a good guy so he allowed it. Jimmy came in and found (like I was surprised) that we needed a new flapper for one of our toilets. My husband just replaced the flapper on our other toilet so it was seriously no thing at all for him to fix another, but my husband felt bad for Jimmy and really wanted to help him out. My husband thought, times are hard and this guy is just trying to make an extra buck. My husband asked how much & Jimmy said 131.00. My husband then asked that is the grand total right? Jimmy s more

High price for four hours work 11/29/2009

Get bids even if you have to do without until you do. Know what you're paying for. AQP installed our tankless water heater, which recently failed. They got replacement parts under warranty and I paid the labor. The final bill, without a single detail to justify it, was half the original replacement costs, averaging more than $150 an hour for four hours. Buyer beware. Pros: Got the job done Cons: No details on job or cost more

Seems to be a good, honest company 8/2/2005

These guys are doing a great job! A plumber from Affordable Quality Plumbing set an appointment time with a 2 hour window...and he actually arrived before the 2 hours was up! He even called ahead to let me know he was on his way. Unfortunately my problem turned out to be septic rather than actual plumbing, but he could just have easily done a ton of work, charged all sorts of stuff to my home warranty company and THEN said it was septic, but he didn't. He listened to my problem, checked things out and was very up-front and honest about everything. I'd recommend this company based on my personal experience with them. I can't believe it - a plumber who actually did what they say and didn't try to rob anyone blind. How refreshing! PROS: on time, honest, curteous, and very helpful CONS: more
