Affordable Hardwood Floors & Linoleum

We were referred to them from a co-worker and decided to go with them based on that recommendation and the price (which was quite a bit less than the other quotes we got). James' team replaced carpet, linoleum, and hardwood on our main floor and installed new hardwood and baseboards. They did a fabulous job and we couldn't be happier with the result. The only downside was how long it took - on the first day they estimated it would be done in 3 days, but it ended up taking 5 1/2. It would have been nice to get a more realistic estimate up front so we weren't surprised. But it's hard to complain about that because they were obviously taking their time and doing high quality work, and cleaning up and hauling away as they went. They even moved all our kitchen appliances and reconnected them, and installed a new toilet for us. Highly recommended for their professional work and affordable prices. I had a refrigerator delivered to my newly constructed home and to my horror the delivery people left a big scratch on my hardwood floor in front of the refrigerator. James came out the day I called him and took a look at the floor and assured me that it can be fixed and no one will notice it was there. The next day James came out and fixed my floor and as promised no one would be able to tell a scratch was ever there. James was very professional and left my house spotless when he left. I called for an estimate, and they came that same day, however late. Scheduled the work for the following Saturday, didn't come at the appointed time, said they would be a few hours late, then called after that appointed time to say they could not come at all that day. Rescheduled for the next day, did not show, did not call. I wasted two of my days off waiting for these folks. Also the owner James, although seeming to be knowledgible and professional was also very unorganized and was confused on who I was and what the job was when I called about the no show. If you have all the time in the world to sit and wait perhpaps they can get the work done for you...as for me, I am looking for another company to do the job. Cons: waste of time more

I scheduled the appointment ,gave my information, and received a call the day they were supposed to arrive just before the appoiintment asking for my address. At the scheduled appoiintment time, they called to say they woeuld be 45 minutes late. I said okay, any they said no we can't come then as there is an appointment after you. I told them that I had taken the morning off. Could they call the next appointment to see if they could reschedule and they said no. Really unprofessional. No respect for my time. more
