Affordable Dental Associates

I went to this dentist as a recommendation and was nervous to see one after years of neglect. I was very comfortable with the staff and no one made me feel bad about myself for the state of my teeth. I was treated with respect and was able to work out finances so that I could begin taking control of my mouth. I look forward to going back. more

I completely disagree with the person below. I have been going to this office since about may last year and have always found the staff extremely sweet, helpful and willing to work with me (and other patients from what I can over hear) on payments. I believe I know who she is talking about in the leopard and in fact that girl always seems well groomed and polite. regardless I dont think a persons size matters when it comes to a review. The doctor is extremely funny and was good about explaining the treatment I needed and when I asked the office manager about payment plans I was allowed to make payments on my bridge work and root canal. I think the last poster was very biased and perhaps her rude attitude effected how the staff was to her. I would recommend this office to anyone and especially people with kids. also to that poster, perhaps you should learn to spell disgusted. Pros: null Cons: null more

I have been terrified of the dentist all of my life. I cracked a tooth and was in terrible pain, I came here and was a nervous wreck. Once I met the Dentist and saw how professional all of the staff were I felt very calm. I had to have a root canal and was shocked that the entire cost of the root canal, including the crown and buildup, was 1695.00. I had already contacted several dentist in town and was quoted a price much higher for the entire procedure. I do not have that kind of money to throw around and was so happy when they offered me different options for payment. I was extremely pleased at the friendly attitude from the time I walked in the door until I left. Thank you to the staff and Dr. for your caring and patience with such a terrified patient. I would have given this place no stars if i could have. I entered this office to first see the girl behind the desk in a leopard see through mini skirt and shirt that were entirely too small! ( I am not a petite girl and nither was sh!!).Thought I was watching an episode of jerseylicious! Then i was called back 45 minutes after my appt. time by a young man who was covered by about a dozen dark purple hickies all over his neck and found out that HE was my dental assistant! Discusting!! Then as I finish my appt. and I am told that I need a root canal and give me an esimate of $1600.00!! I dont know to many people who can just write a check for $1600.00 or who they think can afford something like that.They also offered no payment plan. I called a few other dental offices when i got home and out of the 3 i called none of them were over 900.00 for a root canal!! Needless to say I will not be returning to this place and will never recommend it t anyone I know!! Absolutley Terrible!! more

They say there are Affordable Dental but when I called it was 130.00 plus more to pull a Tooth... That isn't Affordable with a small income.... That is very HIGH ....maybe they are nice denist but no way affordable... if they take payment that a different story but don't believe they do... as don't more

My family & i have been patients at affordable dental for past 3 years...We have always received the highest quality service and treatments...Recently my 3 year boy chipped a tooth down to the rooth...he was in pain and very scared, but Dr. Darj made him feel very comfortable and performed a root canal...as a mom Dr.'s ability how to handle my child is very important to me...and as always was very satisfied...thank you Dr. Darj... more

all the doctors in that dental office are always professional. they are very gentle and kind to the children. Im terrified of dentists and i can tell you now i am very comfortable sitting in that office. the waiting room is very comfortable and has toys so the kids dont get restless. the office has 2 comfortable locations, one in soccoro and one on robert wynn. I have never had a dentist office fit exactly to my criteria but i can tell you this office scored a 100 on it! In my opinion this is the best dental office in el paso! I have been going to dentists all my life. Tooth problems run in my family. I found Dr Darj and the other Docs in the office very attentive and kind. They are now the dentists my entire extended family goes to. They treat kids as well as adults. This in my opinion is very important as i don't have to go from place to place for mykids and myself. My children love to go to the dentist since it feels like we are all part of the family. The staff is very helpful and friendly. We love their service. I highly recommend this office to anyone. I've been dealing with these girls for about 4 months if not more and let me tell you they have the worst office service that i've ever seen. I was referred here by my daughters dentist ( daughter needed 4 front teeth capped) and I'm planning to tell them it was the worst referral they could have given. On the day of my daughters appointment the Dr saw her real quick ( my daughter was fussy), all she did was opened her lips while I held her to see her front teeth. Took about 2-3 min. at the most for her to do this and told me to set up an appointment with the hospital. During this time she's scolding my 2 year old daughter because she was crying while she was trying to explain to me what I needed to do. Then since we were on chip I asked the girls to give me a total of what my portion was going to be and what time for surgery, they said they needed to get back to me. This took about about 1-2 months for someone to get back to me as well as me calling every 2-3 days for an update. During this time I got excused like the hospital hasn't advised us, we forgot to call we were real busy, can you give me the information again we lost the paper, and finally you need to call the hospital yourself. Finally I went to the hospital, pre-registered my daughter, they advised me of a pediatrician release form which I had no idea I needed to get. Finally I called back to the office to get a time and advise of the pre-registration, said Thank you, didn't have a time yet will call me back and oh yeah they forgot to advise me about the release form. Now we're talking a week before the "surgery" I called that Monday and was advised still no time but they would make sure they would call me back by Monday afternoon, yeah right. I received a call on Wed asking for a faxed copy of the insurance and still no time for surgery need to get pre-registration approved first with insurance. I told them no I've contacted another specialist and he will be doing the job instead. I even went as far as to ask them to give me the next available surgery so that no one would be in a rush and they advised they didn't know when the next on was cuz the Dr decides when she wants to have a surgery. If the Dr walks in on Moday wanting to have hospital on Friday then they schedule like that. Ive never had this kind of service from a Dental Office in El Paso, I couldn't believe it. To top it off they billed me 75.00 for the 1st office visit that too me an hour to wait and 2-3 minutes to have. Do they even consider the needs of their patients or if they have pain at all. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS DR OR OFFICE TO ANY ONE...SO IF YOU GET REFERRED SAVE YOURSELF THE HEADACHE AND FIND ANOTHER DR. I gave one star just cuz the review made me if not I would not have rated them at all!!!! Pros: close to where i live Cons: TERRIBLE SERVICE AND ATTENTION TO KIDS NEEDS more
