I would highly recommend Affordable Appliance Repair. Lou is one of a dying breed. He is honest, reliable, and truly ""affordable"". He arranged to come as soon as I was available so I could get my washer running again. He has worked on my other appliances as well. He is such a positive and upbeat person. He saved me a bundle by bringing my 12 year old washer back to speed and I was able to avoid purchasing an new one. more

Our four-year old dryer suddenly went south on us. We called Affordable Appliance Repair and had Lou out to diagnose the problem and give us an estimate. Lou was friendly, cheerful, diligent, professional, and amazingly honest. The dryer heater was replaced in short order and we were back up in the saddle once again. Our laundry equipment goes out occasionally and we'll have Lou from Affordable Appliance Repair out again the next time. more

Our rental property needed the dishwasher repaired. I found Affordable Appliance Repair online and when I spoke to Lou he advised me to check and see if I had a warranty on the appliances in the condo since we purchased it less than a year ago. He actually cared enough to advise me how to save money even to the point of turning a customer away! We do have a warranty. We had a major problem with our dryer and were getting ready to leave on a trip in a few hours and Lou was able to squeeze us in and get it fixed in a jiffy. We use him exclusively because he is ALWAYS dependable, does an excellent job and his prices are very reasonable. He also provides excellent advice and maintenance tips that are very important and he is SO honest. When he was fixing our dryer there was several dollars in change and a key to our house in the dryer housing and I was not surprised in the least when he had that sitting on top of the dryer when he was done. He is great and would recommend him to anyone! more

After waiting 4 days for an appointment with another local appliance repair company, who couldn't manage to make it to my home in the 4 hour window promised, I called Lou at Affordable Appliance. I spoke to him about the problem and he was out to my home within a couple of hours and quickly diagnosed and repaired my range. The price was very reasonable and he even gave me tips on how to do a little ""self service"" on my washer and dryer to keep it running efficiently! Wow. I loved the service provided by Lou and Affordable Appliance Repair so much that I just made a city search account so I could give them 5 stars! \r \r I highly recommend Affordable Appliance Repair. We've never had such a nice repair man as Lou. He was extremely accomodating, somehow fit in time in his busy day to stop by our house, and quickly fixed our problem.\r \r My parent's washing machine had been heavily leaking for a few days and we needed someone to come fix it asap. Unfortunately, I couldnt find a company who worked on LG appliances for the life of me. Finally, another company recommended that I call Affordable Appliance Repair, saying that they had a lot of parts (even LG) on hand, and that they could fix my problem sooner than anyone else.\r \r I immediately called and told them my problem. Lou called me back within the hour and said that his schedule was all booked up for the day, but he would try to fit me in later that night. Lou kept me updated throughout the day, letting me know that he was going to be able to make it by my parent's house. At 7 pm on Cinco De Mayo, Lou showed up and spent the next hour working on our washing machine. After about an hour Lou fixed the machine and I could not be more relieved or happy. I'm SO grateful to the company who referred us to Lou. He was such a nice guy and really affordable. I will definitely be calling him for any appliance problems in the future. 5 stars! \r more

If you need appliance repair this is your man. Called him re dryer issue, thinking I needed to purchase a new one. He returned my call promptly, assessed the situation over the phone, told me what to try first before he came out....I did what he said and sure enough it was a vent issue not a dryer issue....he even followed up with me before I called back, and then referred me to someone to fix the problem!!!!! Affordable Appliance was recommended to me by a friend for my washer repair. She was very happy with Lou and told me that several of our mutual friends used him. When I called and left a message Lou called me right back. I explained my problem to him and he told me that he was familiar with the situation and said that the repair would be very expensive and I was better off replacing it. I was shocked at his honesty.
