My 71 year old mother saw a ad on televsion for a 1 year membership to Court South. She has a heart condition and thought with a light fitness routine it could help her health. My 71 year old mother paid her bill on time every month towards her 1 year membership. Little did she know her salesman at Court South signed her up for 3 years! It was a trick and scam. I know she should have read it carefully, but she"s 71 and trusted the southern gentleman! I went to my mothers first court date ( yes my 71 year old mom had to go to court )and after we spoke to the judge, we went outside to speak to their lawyer about my 71 year old moms next court date. Outside the court room I was approached by a man who was also being, you know by Court South for the same thing. Not to mention all the others inside the court room I saw being called to the bench, 3 or 4 but maybe more,I just don"t, we had to leave before they were finished. Well, my 71 year old mother went to her 2nd court date this week and had to pay over $3000 dollars. Can you believe it!! I hope my story could maybe help someone who is considering joining this club. Please always check the contract before you sigh. My mom is a very good and honest person. I hate that she had to go through all this stess. And Ican"t believe Court South would do this to a 71 year old woman. Thank You
Pros: none
Cons: carpet in the studio, how do you do any movement classes on a carpet, it"s not safe and a good gym would have hardwood raised floors. Court South is still living in the 70"s.
