Great Experience 10/21/2009

The package pricing is what got me in the door there after calling around to some other places. Loved the service and really glad I picked this place. Experienced staff as well. Pros: Comfortable, Affordable more

love it!!! 9/4/2009

I have been coming to ALC for a little over a year now and I love it!!! Right now I am in the process of getting my legs treated and I have noticed a huge difference just after one treatment. Of course the results are different for everyone but ALC has exceeded my expectations. My laser tech is Cindy and she is awesome!!! She is great at what she does and very patient in explaining/answering all of my questions. Pros: Great results Cons: No parking more

Love this place! Customer over 5 years! 8/12/2009

I've been coming here for over 5 years....regularly at first, and now, only when I fly in (since I've moved away). Today, I had a laser hair removal appointment where I live now, with the new Gentle Yag machine that everyone is raving about online, and it HURT!!!! Omg! It was so painful, that I am flying to Seattle to get my next appointment here at Aesthetic Laser center. As a previous regular at ALC, I know how the machines should feel. You guys are lucky if you live in Seattle, and can go here to get your laser done, because it hardly hurts. My experience today with that Gentle Yag machine was awful. Love ALC, and will continue to keep coming here. The atmosphere, professionalism, everything is top notch here. Pros: Best Laser Hair Removal Cons: Still expensive.... laser is always expensive more

Top notch service provider; Nicole is amazing 11/25/2008

As a male not used to ""beauty"" treatments, I could have easily been discouraged from hair removal and facials - I still go in each time praying nobody I know sees me! But I tried both here and have become a regular because of the superior level of service and attention to detail. This has been a great experience for me; ALC really has it's act together (from scheduling processes on down) and is what a spa experience should be - with everything geared to make the experience relaxing and hassle-free for you, the customer. \r \r Nicole in particular is a cut above. She is discrete, attentive, and knowledgeable about what she does as well as very personable, pleasant and genuine. As someone who has worked with a wide variety of service professionals of different types over the years, I believe Nicole is arguably the best I've worked with. Hopefully they work hard to keep her around! Pros: staff; ambience, convenience Cons: downtown parking more

Safe, Clean and Effective Laser Hair Removal in Seattle! 11/12/2008

As a man, I think it may be harder to find a laser hair-removal specialist that understands our needs, is effective, and that you don't have to feel ""weird"" about! All are true for Aesthetic Laser Center (ALC) of Seattle. I?ve been to 3 other clinics over more than five years and previously wasn't satisfied with the quality of the laser, the cleanliness or confidentiality, or ultimately, the results on my back or shoulders-which definitely had a lot of hair. I've now been seeing Nicole @ ALC for about two years and she is GREAT. Nicole is very professional, yet also down to earth and she truly cares about my comfort and results. She has a passion for what she does and is knowledgeable and thorough with my monthly treatments that happily are showing ever-improving results! Nicole even follows-up after the treatment to see how I'm doing and if I am happy with the progress from each session, and if there ever is anything ""missed"" is happy to do whatever it takes to re-do an area quickly with excellent customer service and accountability.\r ALC is very clean and highly professional and not at-all a hard-sell type of company. They offer packages and sometimes discounts too, so if you're considering laser hair removal or any of the variety of estethic treatments they offer, at all (whether your a man or a woman!), I highly recommend contacting them for a confidential consultation....ask for Nicole if you like, she rocks! more

I love the ACL! 11/8/2008

I?ve been to many clinics before, in several different states. ACL is by far the cleanest, friendliest and most caring place of all. In the past, I?ve encountered offices that left tools and cloths sitting out for dust to gather on them, opened Band-Aids stuck to the side of countertops to use on you later?it was disgusting! The clinic is clean, tastefully decorated and welcoming.\r \r Nicole is my esthetician and she puts up with all my complaints like a champ! The ACL?s small office makes each session so familiar and comfortable. Nowhere have I felt so pampered before, although there are painful parts to my acne treatments (extraction ? ugh!), Nicole is sure to make up for it with a steamed towel or mask. My face is looking great and I am very happy with the progress so far. I recommend my esthetician to everyone I know, even my doctor was so impressed that she is now recommending ALC to all her patients with skin problems! Thanks Nicole!!!\r Pros: Cleanliness of the office, professional & knowledgeable staff! more

Impeccable service, fabulous results 11/7/2008

Nicole creates a comfortable & casual environment while maintaining professionalism. I finished laser hair removal (bikini - 6 treatments) with her and now see her monthly for skin treatments (microderm/peels). She is extremely knowledgeable about all treatments and the products she uses. She listened to my concerns about my skin and I trusted her recommendations on skin care. My good skin has turned to flawless skin with just a few changes to products I was using without adding to my daily routine. She did not push unnecessary products on me, which made me realize she is truly dedicated to the wants and needs of her clients. I have had wonderful results and highly recommend Nicole for both laser and skin treatments. Nicole is FABULOUS! Not only does ALC offer great discounts on packages but discounts and specials are extended on single treatments & products to returning clients! Pros: Comfortable atmosphere, great packages, customer loyalty discounts, impeccable service Cons: none to speak of! more

This place really is the best- see Cindy! 8/8/2008

This place and Cindy are both fantastic! I did 4 treatments with her and my hair is basically 100% gone. I have very sensitive (and hairy) skin and always get razor burn despite what products or razers I use and now I can dry shave the little hairs and I get every now and then and my skin is so soft. I did a full bikini, face and underarms and they all look great. Honestly, would have paid 10 times as much- its priceless and Cindy is the absolute best! more

Very impressed with this place! 7/21/2008

After reading BollywoodSasquatch's review. I couldn't stop laughing. I felt the urge to write a much shorter review. I started with my laser treatments last winter. I truly enjoy the connection with all the staff and mostly love the results. I have not been as consistent as I should have been or followed protocol of no sun exposure on the treated area. But the results are even better than I imagined. The laser has rid the majority of my chest and back hair. I was so excited to actually go the beach this summer and not be embarrassed of the hair I used to have. I highly recommend this place. The pricing is the most reasonable in town and it works. I'm happy... more

Best laser treatment experience 7/9/2008

For those who are unsure of todays laser technology: Do not be afraid.... And if you are still not sure Go to the Aesthetic Laser Center of Seattle. I called to get some information and Cindy( one of their technicians) answered the phone, explained few options and scheduled me for consultation. i bought a package and thought why not to try? Trust me, I was never so excited about medical treatment in my life. They were amazing, I should say Cindy. She was always happy to see me and made me feel comfortable with every single treatment. I heard that there was a possiility if being burned doing a laser, but not with ALC of Seattle.\r \r Cindy was amazing and I would recommened to go see her. I have never been treated so well and professional. Pros: Cindy Cons: Non more

The Story of a Sasquatch turn Megastar (PART 1) 7/3/2008

Part 1\r As a world famous Bollywood superstar, I have traveled all eight continents (In India which is my new home, we consider the Indian SUB-continent a continent unto itself) in search of the legendary fountain of youth. I have not found it quite but I have come awfully close. Here is my story:\r \r It started many decades ago in the mountainous forests of beautiful British Columbia (I was born Canadian but in the interest of not annoying readers, I will try to avoid using the word ""eh"" at the end of every sentence as we Canadians normally do) many years ago. As the child of the legendary mythical creature, the sasquatch (also known as ""yeti"" or ""bigfoot"") and a beautiful Canadian blonde (female, that is), I was blessed with a towering frame, chiseled cheekbones, beautiful golden locks, and icy blue eyes. I had it all. That is, until I reached puberty. That?s when my problems started. At first, it was just one. A dark blonde hair crept through the skin below my nipple. ""No problem"", I thought to myself. I'll just pluck it. And so I did. But not a week had passed until it appeared again, this time thicker than before. Again, I plucked it. Yet, again it appeared. And that's when I realized my worst fears: there were more! A patch began to grow below my navel. Another patch started to form where my collar bones met. Oh, what was I to do? I had always dreamed of being on the face of GQ (Canadian edition), posing on a tropical island, my tan skin glowing in the sun, my hair sweeping over my forehead, pushed by the salty breeze that effortlessly moved over the crashing waves. But surely, no one would want a hairy male supermodel. I mean, who can pull that off and still look hot (besides Tom Selleck)?\r \r At first, I shaved. But no sooner had I shaved that the hair would crop up once again, this time thicker than before. Surely, there had to be a better way! I then tried waxing. That kept the genes I had inherited from my father at bay but only for a week?\r (continued?)\r Pros: Cindy Cons: Nothing more

The Story of a Sasquatch turn Megastar (PART 2) 7/3/2008

Part 2\r Then I would go through it all over again. The hassle of weekly appointments. The burn of the hot wax. The sharp pain of the hair being ripped out at the roots. Was it all over? Was my dream destroyed? Would I never live to see the day I would walk down the runway like Derek Zoolander sporting the newest Fendi shades and Ferragamo man-purses? I cursed my misfortune. I was devastated! I stopped eating. My waist went from a very healthy 34? (bear in mind that I?m 6?8?) to a measly 28?. The skin on my cheek sunk which only accentuated my high and protruding cheekbones and pouty lips. I wouldn?t leave my cave in the forest. I became more self-conscious than an anorexic 12 year old girl turned down by the high school jock. Those were the worst days of my life.\r \r But one morning I woke up and took a long hard look at the mirror while listening to the soundtrack of ?Top Gun? (ohhhh, that Val Kilmer?.sigh). Turning my back to the world was not the answer. I had to do something. And so I packed my bags and left.\r \r I traveled to Scandinavia but the incredible beauty of the Vikings was too much for me to take. I felt more inadequate than ever before. I then went to the Middle East. But there, people ? men and women alike ? admired my hairy chest. They said ?You are REAL man, high five? in a quintessentially Kazakh accent. I would not find an answer here. So I moved on again. I traveled to India but the people were too busy writing computer code for Bill Gates to offer a meaningful suggestion. I then trekked the Himalayas into China. The Chinese told me that the secret to a beautiful and hairless body was steamed Mandarin catfish. I ate that to my heart?s content but to no avail. I would wake up with fish on my breath day after day but the nappy chest hair would remain. Alas, I gave up and moved on. The Pacific islands. Africa. Australia. South America. I traveled everywhere. I left no stone unturned, no magic potion untried?\r (continued?)\r Pros: Cindy Cons: Nothing more

The Story of a Sasquatch turn Megastar (PART 3) 7/3/2008

Part 3\r I climbed the highest of mountains and trekked through the hottest of sand dunes but failed time and again. Alas, I could take it no more. I decided to head home. As I made my way back to Canada, I came across a young man of Pakistani origin. His demeanor suggested that he was in his early thirties but his facial hair (or lack of it) indicated he was much younger. How could it be? What had he done? I finally worked up the courage to ask him. ?Laser hair treatment? he whispered as he tiptoed towards me (he was only 5?10?). ?What?s that?? I inquired. ?It?s the ONLY way to permanently get rid of hair? he responded. ?Go to the Aesthetic Laser Center downtown? he went on. ?Oh, and ask for Cindy. She?s the best?. I was skeptical. But after such a long and fruitless search, what had I to lose?\r \r As I went in, I was greeted warmly by a young receptionist. After looking out the 14th story building at the world below, a young woman walked in, her full lips revealing a perfect set of ivory teeth (in the interest of full disclosure, she DID have braces at one time). I couldn?t tell if she was Mexican or Turkmen but it didn?t matter. This sasquatch was here on business! She escorted me into the room where the laser treatments took place. What an impeccably clean facility! She placed some ice on my chest, held it for a few second, and then pushed the red button. ?Zap!? the laser went and the hair popped out. Was I dreaming? Was this real?\r \r And so it continued. Every four weeks, I would trek down from British Columba to grungy, granola Seattle for my treatments. Cindy would greet me with a smile every time (even if she was hungry which she could be if she skipped her usually lunch of falafel at the Pacific Place food court or the turkey avocado sandwich at Il Fornaio). She would place the ice, push the button, and ?zap?, the hair would gone. And so the saga went on?\r (continued?) Pros: Cindy Cons: Nothing more

The Story of a Sasquatch turn Megastart (PART 4) 7/3/2008

Part 4\r Fast forward twelve months and my dreams have come true. I have walked the runways of London, Paris, and Milan. I have flaunted my hot six pack on West Seattle beach putting even the fittest of fratboys to shame. I have picked up girls in bars without saying a word (all I had to do was unbutton the first three buttons of my shirt and pop the collar).\r \r And recently, I reached the ultimate dream: megastardom! Yes! I was casted alongside the former Miss Universe, Aishwarya Rai, as the lead man in a Bollywood movie! I might not have reached the pinnacle that Tom Cruise reached in ?Top Gun? but I sure got far. The days of anorexia and self-conciousness are long over. My dreams have come true. Oh, how could I be so lucky! \r \r Thank you random Pakistani guy on the street.\r \r But above all, thank you Cindy!\r Pros: Cindy Cons: Nothing more

Best Laser Around 6/27/2008

Cindy and Nicole are both FANTASTIC I have seen one for a consultation and one for my treatment. They made me feel safe and informed both girls are very educated in what they do. They do all there laser treatments in a Doctors office that is a plus. Go to this place for your hair removal.. more

SO EXCITING!!! 5/8/2008

I found out about Aesthetic Laser Center of Seattle though this site! I read the reviews and can happily report that I had a great experience. I didn't have any trouble making an appt. and felt completely comfortable when I arrived for my first appt. I had no idea what to expect...I have never undergone a procedure like this before. Nicole iced my underarms and it was over within minutes. She asked me if I was comfortable or if I needed more ice etc. I didn't feel a thing! I ended up buying the ""bikini full"" package as well. Why not knock out two birds with one stone! I thought I was going to be embarrassed about this process but Nicole made me comfortable immediately. I must say it hurt more than the underarms though...there are some sensitive areas down there! Ha. I still have 5 more sessions to go! Can't wait to start seeing the results. Highly recommend Nicole and these magical lasers! :) Pros: Lasers, Nicole, Packages, Making Apppointments... Cons: Downtown Parking more

Excellent Results 1/7/2008

I highly recommend getting lasered here. I'm amazed by the results. It didn't hurt as I thought it might. I'm very impressed. My skin is smoother and hairless. Pros: Great Results Cons: Downtown parking more

No more tweezing or shaving! 11/27/2007

I was skeptical of laser hair removal, but thought it was at least worth a try. It was! \r \r I am very happy with the results. And I am very, very happy with Aesthetic Laser Center, especially with Nicole. \r \r Nicole is a master! She is thorough, knowledgeable and seems committed to making the entire process as pleasant as possible. Complementing her skill as an aesthetician, Nicole is discreet - hair removal can be an uncomfortable subject, but I have never been embarrassed talking to Nicole about my areas of concern. I always feel like I am in good hands. \r \r I don't make recommendations lightly, but would highly recommend ALC. Ask for Nicole. more

Great Technicians Great Results HIGHLY RECOMMENDED 11/20/2007

Their Medical director Dr. Stella is wonderful with great reviews. Pros: Hair removal results Cons: paying for parking (its expected downtown) more

I love laser hair removal 11/20/2007

I've had treatments done 6 years ago at a place that went out of business. It never worked and I didn't ever see a difference. I decided to try it again and just after 4 treatments I've seen nearly 70% gone. I'm so happy and can't wait till my next treatment. The comfort level is so minimal now and it used to hurt like hell 6 years ago. The technology has changed and Aesthetic Laser Center has the best and newest lasers!!!
