Love my Laser Hair Removal! 9/8/2011

Over the past year I've been getting laser hair removal at Aesthetic Laser Care. I love it! I've always been a hairy gal and probably spent thousands on waxing. My bikini and underarms are nice and smooth. No more waxing, no more pain or money wasted!\r The nurse is extremely thorough and the treatment rooms are clean and comfortable.The staff is always fun to chat with while I'm waiitng for my appointment. more

WORST DOCTOR EVER- BEWARE!!!! 5/3/2011

Dr. Lafkas came off as being very nice. I went in for 8 treatments for my face and belly button area. Every time I came out of his office these areas were on fire! The following day I would see them bleeding and then it would scar. I dumbly went through with 8 torturous treatments, even though I was promised 90% hair reduction after just 6 treatments. I noticed continually MORE hair after each treatment. I stopped going after 8 treatments and felt hopeless. A few years later I'm now retrying at American Laser Skincare, and so far I've had NO PAIN, NO SCARRING, and hair reduction, which proves he was using the wrong machine. I wouldn't recomend him to anyone and he doesn't deserve to be a doctor. more

Ecstatic with my results! 5/8/2010

I came to the Doc after researching IPL. My older brother had it done and I was very impressed with his results. The Dr said I could expect good results as my brown spots were fairly superficial (to me I have MANY and they appear very dark). From my research I expected to need 3 treatments. Dr. Lafkas told me 2 (what Dr. does that?), I had my first 8 days ago and the results are unbelievable- I could not be happier, my brown spots have all but disappeared completely. I am amazed and thrilled, my skin looks great. I will be back for my 2nd treatment and will recommend the Doctor and this treatment to everyone I know!
