Never have I been in such an advanced and professional dental center. I recently had a consultation and it was complete and thorough and I felt like they genuinely cared about me. A lot of times I feel that local dental centers try to find a million things wrong to make a quick buck. However, Dr. Joseph Stan's office was much more honest. more

This place was very vague about costs and also kept me waiting for a long time. I would recommend getting very clear pricing before anything is done or you could be sorry like I was. If I could do it again I'd have asked more questions. Actually, if I could do it again I'd go elsewhere. \r \r Also, when I called them originally, they said yes when I asked if they took my \r insurance---but what they really meant, as they explained later, was that they would bill my insurance. That's different. I had to pay them upfront, then they sent the information to my insurance company, and then I had to wait and hope my insurance would reimburse me. My insurance reimbursed only a small portion of the costs since this place's prices are \r much higher than what was covered. This was my experience and I can't speak for everyone. I found Dr. Stan through a friend of mine who had a lot of cosmetic dentistry done with under IV sedation since she wanted to do it all in only 2 visits. My teeth are actually very nice but I am scared of going to the dentist and knew I needed some basic work (cavity, crown, etc). They gave me iv sedation and it was wonderful. A very relaxing experience and they explained how iv is safer than the pills you can take for sedation since it's monitored and can be increased or decreased as needed and is based on your weight.
