This paper is nothing more than Gannett's liberal leaning re-hashed stories on the national front. The paper is certainly not neutral or un-biased. Having a one or two conservative columnist a week does not balance it out. Local stories are average, at best. Not thought out nor complete in many cases. Not worth the money. more

Very poor quality paper. 10/12/2006

Of all the Gannet owned papers I read, namely Clarion Ledger and USA today, there is no comparison. Seem to never do any of the most simple research. i.e. Write articles about local gas taxes (multiple pages) without stating what the local gas tax is. This practice is too common place to count. No crime report; Shameless! more
