I love AIL 5/6/2011

My children attend AIL for the last 2 years. They love it there. I have one child in the pre school section and the other in the infant section. The daycare is bright and friendly. The teachers listen to my requests. Yes, there are some young assistants working but they are all CDA (Child Development Associate) certified and both my kids have had the same teacher in their class. Yes, there are toys around the classrooms, but that is expected when you are taking care of children. I have come in late to pick up my children and I do see them picking up the toys and the cleaning lady cleaning the classrooms. more

AIL is a great place... 5/4/2011

Have 2 kids there full-time-- pre-schooler and early toddler. Have been enrolled for 1.5+ years and love it. Very clean, well organized facility. Teachers are caring and kind, as is management. Even when new teachers are introduced, they make transition easy for the kids and parents. They have well-structured daily plans and cirriculum for all classrooms -- my kids are always coming home with creative projects and learnings from their day. Management is understanding and always willing to listen to, and address, any concerns I've raised. When I drop my kids off, they are excited to get into their classrooms...and when I pick them up, they have big smiles on their faces. As a mother, I just want my kids to be in a happy, learning, loving enviroment while I'm at work -- and Adventures in Learning absolutely provides all of those things for us...and at a reasonable price nonetheless. 5 Stars in my book. more

High turnover rate. Teachers/assistants change often. Unorganized with report cards/utensils and blankets in wrong bins/dirty floors. Some of the toddler class teachers yell at kids instead of speaking to them gently. No positive reinforcement for kids who may act up just tone and inappropriate comments/behavior. Toddler rooms are chaotic and children have no direction most of the time. Music is too loud. Kids get transferred in a room whenever which creates an imbalance in age levels. It use to be ok place but concerns from parents are not affective. Preschool/Toddler teacher unprofessional â?? make rude statements to parents and children. When reporting any incidents to the owner - the concerns are not taken seriously and nothing is really done to change it. On the outside the look of the place looks nice but the reality is something else after you enroll. High school kids (changed every 2 months) in the afternoon babysitting your toddlers and preschoolers. Its a zoo of a class in the toddler and preschooler rooms. I pulled my kid out. You get what you pay for. Its worth paying a little more to get quality - after all its your child. more
