In comparison to a larger park in a much larger city such as a Six Flags, Adventureland may be more difficult to get excited about. When compared to the rolling hills of crops surrounding the park, it seems like the best place to spend a spring, summer, or fall day. Lines are very tolerable, and the (traditionally older) staff is extremely friendly.
Last season, I purchased a season pass and definitely got my money's worth. The pass was paid off in only 3 visits, and I heard that parking will also be included in the 2006 passes, saving about $4 a trip.
2 wooden roller coasters, a steel inverted roller coaster, a water rafting ride, a log ride, and a classic park-wide train contribute to all of the amusement park essentials.
