Wow, what a great company to work with. I really enjoy working with the whole team over there at Advent. From the office staff to our property manager, we couldn't be more pleased. I went with Advent because of the great service and I have not been disapppointed. I don't know what I would do without Advent. I've been using Advent for several years to manage our property in La Jolla. We've been extremely pleased with their work for us. Recently we had a major maintenance issue with our main sewage line and our property manager went above and beyond to get it fixed quickly and without spending a fortune. The tenants were happy with his quick response and we were happy with the diligence used to quote out multiple plumbers and get us the best deal for the repairs. Thanks for all your hard work guys. Worst customer service! My wife and I stayed at a rental property of Advent?s in Pacific Beach while on vacation. From day one we had multiple issues and several misrepresentations from their rental advertisements. No coffee maker, extremely stained couches, pillows, and dining room chairs. Old food left in the refrigerator from previous tenant. Beds weren?t made, towels and sheet were still in the dryer. No cable television as advertised. Barking dogs next to us and behind us. Once we emailed Craig the owner of Advent our concerns he would not reply until I sent multiple emails requesting a response. He would make excuses for all problems rather than provide a solution. His solution is ?talk to the neighbors about their dogs?. Never acknowledging the more serious concerns such as extremely stained couches and pillows. No coffee maker! His solution to no cable television was ?use your computer?. We could no longer justify staying in this place during our vacation when the property manager wouldn?t take any responsibility. We left early and he refused to refund us our money for the nights we didn?t stay. Safe to say we will stay away from Advent property management in the future. We found another property on the beach for the same price and the property manager was so kind and professional. This is not how you treat people on vacation or period. I own a rental house in San Diego, but am too busy to take care of it myself. I searched around for a property management company for awhile until I found Advent. The team at advent has my best interest at heart. They truly believe in customer service, always keeping me in the loop if any issues arise, not to mention they offer great rates. Advent has helped me manage my properties in San Diego for a few years now. From past experience, this is by far the best company to work with.
