I've visited Advantage Body Care a number of times and have always had a wonderful experience. Their Integrative Swedish Massage is my favorite as it is both relaxing and therapeutic- loosening tension and knots while nearly putting me to sleep! I've also had waxing from multiple estheticians at Advantage and appreciate the fact that they don't double dip their wax sticks-lot's of places do and it's super unsanitary. I just had the best massage ever! I'm a person who likes a good mixture of relaxation and deep pressure to work out my knots in a massage, and that's exactly what I got. I went into Advantage Body Care in the Westminster/Huntington Beach area and right from the beginning, my experience was amazing. My massage therapist, Nick, listened to my concerns and focused on the areas of my back I requested. I would recommend this spa to anyone! Mineonly, I'm just wondering why you would go to a place where ""word on the street"" is it's not good. I mainly receive waxing, but have received many of their services as well for awhile and have had only experienced technicians. They have all been wonderful! The ambiance is great and I have even fallen asleep during the facials. The girls are professional and very pleasant and I have referred people there, which I wouldn't do if I didn't think the place was exceptional. They get an A++ in my book! more

Word on the street is the owner hires newly licensed estheticians. As such, services are mediocre. The esthetician rooms are ho hum with crappy ambiance. Lookin to get waxed? I started going there several years ago and have tried several different massages. I try to go every month and it's hard to decide which one to get! The prices are unbelieveable for the quality of the experience - you can't beat it! The quiet ambiance makes it seem like you enter a different world and I leave sooooo relaxed. I took advantage of their spa promo special and I was very impressed with the experience. The therapist was very professional, courteous and knowledgable on skin care. The appointment was on time. The spa was very clean and relaxing. I would recommend this spa to anyone looking for something local , friendy and without all that high-end,snooty atmosphere that you get at the larger spas. I moved from orange county a few years ago. Always on my visits back I visit Advantage Body Care for Facials and massages. I use several of their products, when I am in need of product they are very accommodating in mailing me whatever I need. I find the Spa to be staffed with very pleasant knowledgeable people and the facility is always very clean and inviting. Pros: Clean and inviting more

horrible experience at one point i asked her to stop and see if anyone else could finish my wax. it should have taken 1.5 hours at the most but i was in there for 2.5 hours. i thought since it was a higher priced spa it would be an excellent experience but it was torture the girl could not even wax my arms or legs properly. I had to tell her how to wax because she was so inexperienced. The owner was very nice and offered a discount for next time but no thank you!!! I just wanted to get out of there. My advice go to a reasonable priced salon and save time, frustration and pain! more

I just recently moved to Huntington Beach and a friend who had been a client there for years referred me to Advantage Body Care. I make it a point to pamper myself at least once a month and consider myself a total spa junkie. I was impressed after my first call to schedule my appointment as they made every effort to accommodate my busy schedule. I went in for a massage + facial special that I saw on their website. My technicians were very attentive and even spent a good amount of time with me after my appointment discussing product. I rebooked for 10% off my next appointment, but for me the highlight was unexpectedly receiving a thank you note a week later. It's those little touches that got me hooked! more

I absolutely LOVE this spa! The people at Advantage Body Care are very special, so friendly, and kind. I have been worked on by several different people and ALL of them took the time to listen to what concerned me, and Kristina has been working with me for my skin care. My eyebrows have NEVER LOOKED BETTER, and I am {to my surprise} getting compliments on my skin! So far I have had a massage, a facial, had my brows, lip, chin, {everything} waxed. I would recommend any service here, but especially try a massage, they are awesome, or one of their Fantastic facials... Which make my face feel beautiful~ Plus, if you re-book for next time, they give you a discount. Bottom line, they treat you so well and they do a really great, professional job at whatever service your getting. I have been going here for 4 months and I will be coming back for a long time :-) Try them out, you'll feel great too! Pros: Upon arrival, they treat you to citrus water! When I arrived for my service, I was greeted very warmly and the smell of the place was very relaxing. Once I left the waiting area, the lights were dim and tranquil, the rooms were peaceful, clean and invitingI I received a massage and a facial. They were punctual, professional and some of the best services I had received from any of the prior spas I'd visited.
