Advanced Wound Center

The Advanced Wound Center specializes in treating slow healing and challenging wounds. Wounds can range from diabetic wounds, ulcers to gangrene. Using advanced treatments and technology, we improve a patient’s quality of life. One of the advanced treatments we use is Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT). HBOT is a method of treatment where the patient breathes 100 percent oxygen at two-to-three times the normal atmospheric pressure. This increase in pressure and pure oxygen allows the body to take on substantially more oxygen into the tissues. The increased oxygen in the tissue helps with the body’s normal healing processes and actually facilitates the growth of new blood vessels..
