There is a new doctor at the office. Dr Garcia is very nice and explains everything including going over my retina photo. I love my new glasses and I can see great! I would recommend everyone to see Dr Garcia! more

Huge Mistake!!!! I went to this office for a standard eye exam and to inquire about contacts. Nothing was explained to me. Very few of my questions were answered. When picking out new frames, the selection was very limited. Not to mention, a fitting for contact lenses was done without my consent. When I questioned the amount I was charged, I was told a prescription/fitting had been completed and my money could not be refunded. Although, I never received any trial lenses, wear instruction, or care/hygiene instruction. If you're wondering, yes, I am very bitter over the $150 I was wrongly charged, but that aside, I was very disappointed in the lack of communication during my exam, the limited selection of frames, and the fact that almost all of my questions went unanswered. I greatly wish I had read the reviews before scheduling my appointment. more

The first pairs of glasses Advanced Optometry Center made for me had several issues. My eyelashes touched the lenses because of how AOC had specified the shape of the lenses. The pairs of lenses also had faint digital markings on them that were not supposed to be there. Both of these things went unnoticed by AOC staff and I informed AOC on a subsequent visit. AOC was able to understand the errors and remade the lenses. They came back with two problems fixed but my vision was still not clear.\r \r I described the problem as can see well straight ahead but looking off center gets blurry. Using a computer was impossible. I could not wear the glasses more than 2hrs and I found it dangerous to drive with them but all AOC could tell me is that my eyes needed to adjust. I went to Advanced Optometry Center no less than 5 times and the net result was that my new glasses continued to cause headaches, eyestrain, and distorted vision. I put the $800 glasses back in their Giorgio Armani and Penguin cases and sadly reverted back to my pre-AOC glasses for daily use...\r \r ...To my delight, at my next eye exam I discovered the simple problem with my AOC glasses with the help of my new optometry office (I chose a higher quality optemetry provider). The technician at the new office was quickly able to determine the problem with my glasses - the optical center of the lenses was too low. To confirm this I raised the glasses straight up and walla! problem solved! I called AOC and presented this information. AOC wanted to charge me to fix a problem they should have been able to identify and were not willing to make good on products I paid $800 for. I had my new optometrist remake lenses for Geiogio Armani and Penguin frames - with corrected optical centers - and they work great now. I used them to type this review. more

Dr. Feiner seems pleasant and wanting to sincerely assist with your vision care. However, there is this guy who works there, that is ruid, nasty and doesn't know anything it appears, about Optometry. All this guy cares about, is how much money he can soak you for. Therefore, it makes the entire experience unexceptable and I will never go back, nor will I recommend this practice. Dr. Feiner gets rid of this guy David, then I might reconsider. He ruins her practice! more

Dr Feiner is very thorough and friendly, and she took her time with me. She answered every question and concern I had. I enjoyed the entire experience. The staff was very friendly, and Dr. Feiner was very knowledgeable. The waiting room was very comfortable, and the office has a very open feel to it which adds to the comfort. Dr. Feiner is the best Optometrist that I have ever gone to. She is very precise and explaine everything in full details. She took pictures of my eyes and pointed out every little speck that causes glaucoma. She took her time with me and never appeared to be in a hurry. I found the services and qualifications for this optometry center to be very helpful. Also, they will fit younger children for contacts and that was most helpful to me. It is very easy to get an appointment. more

My family and I recently began receiving services at Advanced Optometry Center in Raleigh at the Wakefield office. I can't tell you how happy we are with the service and moreover the care that we receive there. AOC really cares about their patients. We received new recommendations for better types of contact lenses for our situations, different options which proved to be so much better for us in glasses, and generally an excellent visit result each time we go. Dr Feiner spends so much time with each of us ensuring that we get the best care and she makes the best decisions for our sitations. Mari will also spend as much time as needed in the front office helping us with choices, insurance and any option they can offer to help us obtain the best they can give. This type of care is truly a blessing these days - we don't feel like we are working with an optometry center that is just a business - we feel like we are working with a doctor in a very caring office. Dr. Feiner is the most caring and kind doctor I have been to in a long time. She takes a lot of time with you, and you don't feel like she is rushing you out of the office to get to the next person. She also take care of my 5year old grand daughter who needed glasses. I love the front office staff, this is a great place to use for eye care. I stopped by there because I was in Wakefield and it was convenient for me at the time. I am glad I did. The staff was very helpful, not pushy like some other optical places, and I was able to get what I needed fast. Pros: Friendly, Professional, Cons: Hard to Find more
