Advanced Four Wheel Drive Syst

Have used Advanced Four Wheel Drive a couple of times before and have an appointment tomorrow. I have been very satisfied. Nobody likes paying for repairs but at least with these guys you feel like they are experts on hubs, differentials and other 4WD issues. I have never had that sick feeling like when you leave a dealership with a huge bill and you feel like you were overcharged. more

I upgraded to the new suspension system that Randy is now using on the Ford E350 vans and love it. I had the older system and he leaf springs were much shorter. The new system with the adjustable shocks make the van like a new vehicle. My wife complained about driving in the van because it hurt her back. Now its not a problem on long trips. I have had Advanced do all the work on the van and couldn't be more pleased. Thanks, more

I recently had my Van converted to Four Wheel Drive. I love it! Advanced was so great to work with. Randy was very patient with me and my numerous questions. I have been so pleased with my vans ability to go off road. I recently took a trip to Southern Utah to run a relay race. We had 10 women and our gear in the van and we felt like we still had plenty room. Some of the roads got pretty hairy. It felt great to pass people in their SUV's slipping and sliding. My van performed better than I even expected. I would recommend Advanced Four Wheel Drive to anyone! more

About 1 year ago I had 4.88 gears and eaton elockers installed in my 07 jk wrangler. Well 1 year and endless days of constant beatings to my jeep wich include, Pritchett Canyon, Behind the rocks, mud boggin and 16,000 miles later my differentials and lockers still work perfect. I was recently in Moab and saw many jeeps in front of me break axles and break teeth off their ring and pinion. As I would crawl, bang or bounce up many of the obsticles I was worried my jeep would break in the same places. Thanks to Randy and the excellent work done at advanced 4 wheel drive my Jeep made it up all the obsticles and still drives like a champ. more

I have been taking my vehicles to Randy for 14 years, (never once for the same repair). Randy has always been honest and more than fair with me ? with his time/knowledge and financially! Thank you Randy for always directing me with what I will truly be happy with ? never steered me wrong. There is NOBODY I trust more with my vehicles! more

It is amazing to me to read the complaints and ""reviews"" by people that obviously fall into one of two categories. 1. They couldn't by a clue. or 2. They are @ssholes themselves and are put out by someone who puts them in their place. Please remember... Experience ALWAYS trumps a THEORY! Randy is by FAR one of the most knowledgeable 4X4 expert in the Nation, BECAUSE he has done it all. If you don't know what you are talking about, he will be sharp, because you obviously don't know what a locker is or how it is supposed to work, and you are lazy. So, you ask him to do some work and are displeased with the result, LIKELY because you had no idea what a new technology or piece of hardware should work. If you don't know what you are talking about, but you ACT like you do? Then he will be what some may call and @ss, and it is a GOOD thing. If you can't take it. Go get some experience breaking your 4X4, and then come back and get it right. When I have a ""good idea"" or a request, I just go and ask. He either tells me why it won't work, or how to do it right, or if it is just plain stupid. His business is called ""ADVANCED Four Wheel Drive Systems""! This ain't some glorified tire shop... I have known Randy for YEARS and NOW he is a very good friend. I feel great about taking EVERYTHING to him. He is fair, he is TOP quality, and he is honest. And shut your mouth, and he might share some of his experience with you. more

Randy speaks mechanic. if you dont speak it, and can admit it, just dont! trust he will be streight with you. have him give you a cost, and do busness. no questions, he will let you know what you need to know. I expected him to charge more. he will take care of your busness!!! Pros: direct knowledge. Randy knew what my issue was. Cons: none... maybe the poor ratings when i went to call! more

OK, so I just bought a 72 Bronco. I wanted to put an ARB air locker in the front and rear. Called Advanced and asked for a technician so I can see if they do that kind of work. Do you need hard-to-find repair jobs performed on your four wheel drive vehicle/differential? Randy is your guy. He stands behind all of his work, even those people who find time to write factless reviews that are too spineless to include their real names. Pros: Randy is the most knowledge man in Utah when it comes to four wheel drives Cons: Custom jobs are subject to numerous problems such as machine failures in the manufacturing process causing delays in projected finish times more

Theres no doubt about it Randy is a no bs guy with a busy shop, so he dosen't kid glove things. I would rather have a guy know what he was doing than be a sugar baby make me feel good dude and not know a thing. If you need work done right and at a good price this is the place to take your 4x4 to...just don't expect to get a kiss on the cheek when you leave just good job well done. And as far as having a selection of used parts its going to be hard to beat his shop on that account as well... Pros: very knowledgable, good prices, lots of parts Cons: he aint no cupcake more

I called this particular store (ADVANCED FOUR WHEEL DRIVE) with a question and spoke with Randy. I can honestly say I have never ever been treated with such disrespect by a counter sales rep. Although he did have an obvious knowledge of off road vehicles he came across as an absolute A$$. I will never spend a dime at this store and for sure wouldnt tell anyone to go there for any reason...... In a state with so many other options go to any other store and get ten times the respect and customer service ........ Pros: and a good knowledge of 4x4 Cons: he is an A$$ more

Randy at Advanced 4x4 is more than willing to take your money to ""feed his family"" but if you dare ask any questions about a 4x4 system or for advice, then expect to be treated with complete disrespect. What a complete TOOL! more
