At Advanced Endoscopy & Surgical Center we provide our patients with endoscopic procedures such as gastroscopy, esophageal dilatation, colonoscopy and polypectomy, which visualize and treat conditions of the esophagus, stomach or small and large intestine without the need or inconvenience of a hospital stay. We offer patients a more convenient, comfortable and safe alternative for their gastroenterology needs.Our facility also offers pain management and podiatric surgical services. In addition to Medicare we accept most major insurance plans. If you have a question or concern about your insurance coverage, our helpful and courteous staff will be happy to assist you.An Anesthesiologist will be present continually for your care while you are a patient at the Center. Prior to your procedure an anesthesiologist will review your medical history and perform a brief physical assessment. You will be asked about underlying medical conditions and the medications you are taking. Most medications should be taken with a few sips of water upon awakening on the day of your procedure. It is important to inform your anesthesiologist if you have a history of allergic reaction to specific medications. Your previous surgeries as well, as your vital signs will be recorded.All of this information assists your anesthesiologist in planning and administering the safest anesthetic possible.Prior to the day of surgery, you will have been instructed on the need to fast preoperatively. If you have any questions regarding the procedure preparation contact your physicians office.The completion of our renovated facility in 2008 provides our patients with the latest state of the art equipment and an inviting atmosphere. Our entire staff of physicians, nurses, technicians and ancillary staff are dedicated to providing each patient with the highest quality of care available.Our friendly reception team is available to assist each patient in a quiet and private confidential area.The Patient Welcome Area provides a separate area for those who prefer to watch television or quietly read. We provide coffee and tea for your adult companion while they wait for you to complete your stay.Our management team is always available to assist with any questions you may have before, during or after your procedure.Please be sure to complete and mail back your Patient Survey which will be given to you upon your discharge. The Patient Survey is our score card. It lets us know how we are doing and where we can improve.
