Excellent job! Gil, Joe and crew finished 2 weeks early and put in step lights for me that I did not know would be included. Driveway, patio and pool deck all just beautiful. Great job guys! more

Joe Garcia's team just finished up our 5,000 sq ft paver project. Did a fine job, probably could of picked it up a little less expensive elsewhere, but I seen several completed projects and was very impressed. Gil came through will all that he promised. No complaints here. I suppose everyone has an opinion. more

All the reviews below were written by Gil Garcia. Obviously, he's not too smart - writes half a dozen positive reviews on the same day (8/26) in order to ""hide' the negative review. Seriously, this company is a scam - just look at RipOffreport (and other places on internet) and you will see just how bad this company is. They never finished my project and left me with bad workmanship (pavers were substandard), used unlicensed electricians and plumbers (still paying for that myself). I happened to run into a contractor in Orange that Gil and Joe had used and he said he still hasn't been paid for 3 jobs and everyone is looking for them. They also switch names - from Joe Garcia Construction to Power Pavers to Advanced Construction. It is only a matter of time before the State Attorney shuts them down for good. Once they have all your money, good luck trying to get either Joe or Gil to answer your call or return your messages. They are never at their office either. I think my next stop will be to their house. more

It's been over a year since my install and all I can say is it was a fantastic job! The salesman was great, and came up with several ideas to make the job look better. Unlike the woman who has nothing but complaints my experience was great from start to finish. The install team were experts, and all spoke english! Job was completed early and looks great! The supervisor on the job checked in daily and made sure all was done right. The only small complaint I had was the sealer the contractor recommended wasn't worth the cost to spray on. Would have worked fine without it! I had a rear patio and walkway done and it looks beautifull. If I had not already had a stamped driveway poured I would have Power Pavers install a new one also! I would recommend them to any friend with confidence! Thank you Thank you and thank you! The salesman Gil understood what and how I wanted things to look. He was knowledgeable of the complete process from start to finish. I was impressed when he came up with the exact square footage as me. I had 1estimate before and 2 after that came up with as much as 100 square feet more. Not a god start for them, it was the end. The workers were hard working and did everything the exact way told to me. They even went out of the way to allow me to put my sprinkler and drain lined in. I highly recommend Systems Paving to do any job. I recieve comment all the time on how good it looks and have intrest in doing their driveways. I alway let them know who did the work, and how they worked. more

Wow this review is super long but I totally second what she/he said: Gil Garcia (Joe's nephew) came out to do the estimate and it seemed like he immediately knew what we wanted. Although we had some idea of what we wanted, Gil was able to give us some very creative suggestions to enhance the project. Even before we signed the contract, Gil made several trips to our house to bring samples and discuss options. With his help we decided on the style and pattern of paver to use but were undecided about the color. Our house is taupe and it seems as if all the pavers we looked at were brown or grey. Gil understood our concern and searched for and found a set of pavers that were the perfect color. He also provided us with a list of houses in the area that they had worked on and even drove us to a project that was currently in progress. After seeing his companies work, there was no question that this was the company we were going to go with. We negotiated a price that was not the lowest one we received but it wasn't the highest either. It was a fair price. After the contract was signed, we met with Joe Garcia and he gave us the time frame for the project. Gil was able to give us an drawing of our final plans for our homeowners association as well as pictures of the materials they would be using. Construction began two days sooner than Joe had estimated. They had the demolition completed in less than a day. The pavers were delivered within 3 days. The prep work was completed within 4 days and the pavers were laid after that. Their team of workers were always there on time and worked continuously until the job was done. We made a few changes after construction began but that didn't bother this well oiled construction team. Joe and his team of landscapers were also able to lay out a new sprinkler system and plant new sod in the front yard which put the finishing touches on our project. After the project was finished we had neighbors stopping by all the time asking about the project and complimenting us on the excellent work. We couldn't be happier with Gil and Joe and their team. Gil and Joe were in constant contact with us throughout the process and one or the other was on site almost every day. We are hopeful that they will be working on our second project (the backyard ) soon. --> That's exactly what we want to say. Thank you so much Joe and Gil! more

I love how my patio turned out! My artificial turf in front of the house is also well done and groomed. It's amazing how they can manage all of these jobs at the same time. Really professional, dedicated and willing to work out any issues with you. The owner is old but it doesn't stop him from being quick witted and agile. His nephew knows what he's doing and a real professional. Thanks again! more

I hired Joe and his team for a pool job and was extremely happy with the results. The negative reviews down there baffle me since they are pretty good at what they are doing. They were even part of System Pavers. The pool was done on time for us to enjoy and fight back the heat of summer. Overall, its a good deal. more

We met with Gil Garcia and hired Joe Garcia Construction to re-do our backyard. It was a nightmare! The workers never showed up until many weeks later, and only time Gil or Joe showed up was to collect money for things that were not done. The workmanship was terrible. I have already had to hire another company to fix all of their problems because they would never return my phone calls. The cement that was poured had to be redone, the drains were not connected correctly, etc. The workers told me that have not been paid for several jobs, and dont want to work anymore for Joe or Gil. I just want to warn anyone not to use this company or any of the other names it goes by which appears to be Advanced Construction or Power Pavers. Pros: None I can think of Cons: Poor workmanship, no customer service, no money to pay more

My husband and I wanted to update our front yard and driveway. After 20 years it was looking a little shabby. We wanted to increase the outdoor living space by adding a patio and french door off of our living room and a nice walkway and steps leading to our front door. Our driveway was cracked and uneven and needed replacing as well. We contacted 5 contractors and interviewed and received estimates from each. Two of those we interviewed were very large, well known companies who advertise extensively, one was a referral from a neighbor and the other two were found through the internet. The large companies were eliminated right away. One because their estimate was way out of line and the other because the references of work they did in the area was quite ordinary. The one referred by our neighbor was eliminated because his contractor's license was questionable. It came down to the two companies that I found on the internet.
