Worst

Tried to charge me over $700 for something I fixed myself in two hours. Diagnosed my car in 10 min and wouldn't give my car back without paying $85.

I also appreciate that they make a note in your file and alert you of "other" problems that they spot and allow you to determine when you would like to get them fixed! Rather, than hammering you that "this and that" needs to be fixed. more

Engine Check Light Solved Promptly 10/12/2013

Per a reference from a colleague and being unfamiliar with Ann Arbor, I stopped in to check out Advanced on a Monday afternoon after work. Cameron was receptive and helpful, diagnosing a check engine issue with clarity and recommending proper service. Later in the week I stopped in to have the issue fixed and the service was prompt and concise. I was very pleased with his candor and sincerity and will definitely consider AA again for maintenance and any repairs my car may need. Thanks, AA!!! more

oil change done in a timely fashion. 10/10/2013

I have had my oil changed @ Advanced Automotive 2x's now.It is refreshing to be able to pay the bill without the mechanic saying oh, by the way you need to have x,y,z done or this will cause issues with your car.I would find out later thru my Toyota dealership that it was not the truth. more

I just went in for an oil change but I got plenty of information for the months to come about keeping my car running well without them ever seeming to sell me on anything. I will be going back for further maintenance. more

Came in with a Groupon and was able to redeem no sweat. They got to work on my car right away and had oil changed and tires rotated in 45 min. Had a table in the waiting area I could do work on with no distractions. Best of all, good customer service and no upsell. Will definitely be back. more

A bit slow, but otherwise fine 8/18/2013

Went in for a routine oil change and was told it would take 30 minutes; total procedure ended up taking more like 45-60 minutes, and my impression was that this wasn't a busy day for them (I could hear the staff chattering about much of the time in the garage). That being said, the price was reasonable and the staff were friendly, plus I was able to get an appointment on relatively short notice. So if the staff at this franchise were simply to move more quickly, I would gladly recommend them to anyone. more

Although we're new in the area, the gentlemen at AA&T treated our family like life long customers. I appreciate especially, the attention to detail as well as the friendliness. The time it took was a bit longer than anticipated, or it would've been a 5 star. Popularity and quality service have to come with some price though...right? more

These guys are the reason my 11 year old minivan has 250,000 on it. I keep it lubed and clean, and in those rare times it needs help, Advanced Auto always comes through with professional and reasonable service. Last time, they properly diagnosed a faulty starter switch on the tree. This time, the minivan needed plugs, wires and ignition coil. Kudos! more
