Yingzhe Li, a master acupuncturist in NJ and NY states, a medical doctor in China, has practiced Chinese herbal medicine, acupuncture, and western medicine for over 20 years, among which 10 years are spent in the United States. Currently she practices acupuncture and Chinese medicine in NJ and also teaches in Touro College for their Acupuncture - Chinese Medicine Program.
Yingzhe Li received eight years medical education in both Chinese medicine and modern western medicine. She earned her first medical degree after 5 years full time medical study from Henan college of Traditional Chinese Medicine, that is MD equivalency in USA and graduated as a honored student.
Yingzhe Li earned her second medical degree from Guangzhou University of Traditional Chinese Medicine--one of the best medical universities in China, with a major of combined Chinese medicine and western medicine. In Guangzhou University of Traditional Chinese medicine, she conducted another 3 years advanced study and research on the treatment and prevention of internal diseases with the methods of traditional Chinese medicine, acupuncture and modern western medicine.
Professional Activities:
Yingzhe Li received strict training in internal medicine, gynecology, acupuncture and herbal therapy. She worked as an attending physician in the inpatient and outpatient neurology department, gynecology department, acupuncture and physiotherapy department, and cardiovascular medicine department in the City Hospital of Luoyang and the First Affiliated Hospital of Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine.
Yingzhe Li treated a lot of patients (usually see 20-40 patients a day in China) by using acupuncture, Chinese medicine, and western medicine. Her patients' illnesses ranged from facial paralysis to migraine, from PMS to stroke, from infertility to IBS, etc. Prof. Li successfully treated her patients and enjoyed a very good reputation.
Yingzhe Li was a lecturer in medical schools and has taught Chinese medicine, which includes Acupuncture, herbal formulas, and basic theory of TCM. She was also an instructor for medical students (some were foreign students).
