My husband has always shopped at Advance Auto.and he has always received a veterans discount when showing his VA ID card since he got out of the service. When we went in this weekend to get parts to fix our car, the four men working there denied that they offer a veterans discount, even though it is corporate policy and on every disabled veterans site you find. The 10% is not what was a problem, since 10% is really no more than tax, the problem was how disrespectful they were to my husband, a disabled veteran. They essentially laughed at him when he pulled out his card and acted like he was a scumbag for asking for his discount, which again has always been offered to him. Not only will we never go back to this store, but we will let every single veteran and service member we know about this terrible experience!
