Adt-Beacon Alarms

I have had several installers visit my home for various services in the past month or so, to include satelite internet, security cameras, and burglar system. Beacons proffesional attitude and dedication to pride in workmanship and customer service is OUTSTANDING!! They outshined any and all contractors that I've hired since building my house in Feb of 09. I had an extensive security system installed and running in less than one day, and upon inspecting their work, I was completely impressed. I would recommend the staff at Beacon alarms to anyone. (especially Donnie my installer) He went out of his way to deliver and install my system. The other installers (satelite and cameras) had nearly no pride in their work. They wanted to set up and plug in not paying attention to the details of a proper installation, which made me complete the installation myself after they left. All they wanted was a quick turn around so they could collect as much money as possible in the least amount of time. Beacon on the other hand went through great measures to insure that the instalation was COMPLETE and to code. They also, took a great deal of time explaining the maintenance and operation of the system. Their post installation clean up was impeccable. After they left, it was if they had never been there except for the proffesionally installed system. I wish more companies would take the time to hire great people as Beacon does, and train them to be as thorough, proffeasional, and proud to do the job they have. I cannot stress enough on how happy I am with this company. OUTSTANDING!! Pros: Service, Attitude, and Pride in workmanship Cons: have found none thus far more

ADT Beacon alarms charged me over $700 for alarm monitoring and some maintenance. My alarm went off one day a few months later and no one ever responded. The local police told me no one was monitoring it. after i called to inquire why i did not see the response. I called beacon and they told me they would look into it. After several calls asking for the answer i did not get anything other than it was ok. now. Then our hose was broken into and my favorite chainsaw was stolen and some other tools again i came home to an alarm beeping but no response from the police. And again no one was monitoring. I called ADT again and beacon. Beacon had canceled my adt monitoring shortly after i gave their manager Josh my check and since that time no one has been monitoring it. I pulled my check copies and my checks were cashed in a local CASH ADVANCE place. Oh great now my security company is cashing its checks ant the quick cash places.... I called the local manager Mr. Harrison and demanded the refund with in a week and never happened in fact it is all i can do to get him to call back... BEWARE BEWARE CALL SOME ONE ELSE Cons: My house was robbed NO ALARM WORKED more
