The technician took less than 15 minutes finished and was gone. He didn't screw the cabinet cover back and I had to do this myself. Two weeks later I receive an invoice from ADT ...

I read a lot of reviews and considered ADT and another company. I chose ADT and the experience has been tremendous. Interactions with all representatives from the company including the sales person and technician have been friendly. I also like the light comes on each month to remind us to test the system. The monthly testing is not just talk. They proactively want us to test their system. more

viable contract length 5/4/2013

They have variable length contracts from 1 to 3 years (for most alarm companies, shortest is 3 years), AND, you own the equipment after the contract period (which is relatively insignificant anyway as far as price of an overall average system). more

simple but works best 4/21/2013

It’s a simple security system but a little expensive compared to the other home alarm providers. It’s a very standard alarm system that covers the basics: i.e. a keypad, window and door sensors and motion detectors. The motion detector doesn’t work too well with Pets, so the false alarms are a bit high. more

rapid installation 4/18/2013

Two weeks later I receive an invoice from ADT Head office for $284.42! Avoid this company, both Head office and their dealer network. The real thieves you need to protect yourself from is ADT!! more

Its really perfect especially if you live alone in your place. I got mine and its totally in my budget. I dont have issues with ADT. They sure know how to take care of their customers. more

Thanks to my cousin Jenny, for recommending ADT to me. I have less worries now whenever I need to travel out of town. Whenever somebody asks about home security, I only suggested one company and its ADT. I am a customer for 4 years now and I am very happy with it. more

If you want to save on your home alarm system, ADT is the best choice for you. I have tried using the burglar alarm and I have saved a lot! Now I am upgrading this system!! more

Make no bones about it, you need the security ADT can offer and you only risk your property and your personal safety be procrastinating on getting your alarm system set up immediately. An ADT monitoring service has to be the most important investment you can make to protect your property, you and of course your loved ones. more

feel comfortable 12/1/2011

I have had ADT for many years and always get a fast response when the smoke detector goes off or if I change batteries in the sensors. We have pets and feel comfortable knowing that if a fire started, there would be an instant response. more

ADT is the best company when it comes to security. They have a lifetime warranty on all equipment, 36 hour service call response time (try getting those other companies to do that) world class service!! what do you expect? ADT is securing the White house, The Pentagon, and Fort Knox!! Everyone i have talk to that has ADT (about 100 people) has the same feeling about this great company. remember, people only like to talk when they have a bad experience, very seldom do people share their good ones. Thats the only reason these other reviews are bad, not because ADT is a bad company by any means. more

The ADT QuickConnect burglar alarm is a great way of getting a professionally installed ADT alarm installed in your home for under £100. As normal with installed alarm system there is a monthly fee for the monitoring service and maintenance and checks of the system. The fee with the ADT QuickConnect is £20.99. We had an extra 2 movement detectors added to the basic package. The stand kit included two movement detectors and one door contact for the front door. A bit of research found the best offer on the ADT QuickConnect from a website offering free extras. The installation and testing took around 3 hours and the engineer talked us through how the system is used before he left. All very reassuring. more

scare off robbers 10/10/2011

This is good intrusion prevention especially for big business. This will really scare off robbers and burglars. They have one type of alarm that the siren will be alerted at the central station of ADT. It means burglars and robbers have no idea that police are on their way to the location. more
