A group of us went here based on a colleague's recommendation. Unfortunately this was the 1st restaurant we tried based on his recommendation---don't think we'll be doing that again. This restaurant is located in Surfside, an up and coming area, just south of Sunny Isles. The only good part of this place is the cocktails. Otherwise, the ceviche is not authentic & lacked flavor. The ceviche was very acidic and had no Peruvian corn or flavor. \r

We also tried the Appetizer Adriana: Yuquitas, Tequenos and Fried Breaded Mini Chicken Balls (tasted o-k), Lomo Saltado (salty and greasy-- reminded me of Americanized chinese beef stirfry from the mall foodcourts), Funghi tortellini (salty), spaghetti pomodoro (not good ) , Honey chicken (again food-court chinese food), and tres leche for dessert (which just o-k). If you check out the menu---other than a few "authentic Peruvian sounding names of dishes", there really aren't any good Peruvian dishes. Michys has better ceviche, and Francesca's has way better Peruvian food (though a little pricey). If you want a nice place to sit and enjoy an overpriced cocktail...this is the place for you. You're basically paying all this money for the ambiance -not the food.
