Great haircut 5/11/2010

I went for a haircut in April or what he called ""clean up"" and have to say, it turned out to be one of the most amazing haircuts I've ever had.After the first wash I was able to style it easily without spending too much time. He listened to my concerns and was able to translate that in a wonderful cut. He is absolutly creative, skillful and an attentive listener. He knew what fits my face and goes with my hair structure. Exceptionally talented and well priced 3/30/2010

I've been a redhead for the past 10 years and my colour has never looked better since Adrian became my stylist. He's one of very few colourists to use Elumen, a technically tricky but brilliantly effective product that barely fades and keeps hair healthy. Adrian strikes that perfect balance of creative - to keep my style interesting and fresh - and conservative - so that it's never too outrageous for the law firm where I work. more

Best Hairstylist west of the Rockies 3/27/2010

It took many hairstylists and really bad haircuts before I finally found Adrian. When he moved to the East and only came to SF once a month to see clients, scheduling became a problem. So no Adrian, no haircut! I had actually resigned myself to having long hair which was not something I really wanted. I am so glad he moved back to SF because in the hierarchy of priorities, perfect haircuts is right up there with good food and excellent wine. Welcome back, Adrian! great haircut! 8/28/2007

I went to Adrian with a picture of a hairstyle that I wanted to get. He took a lot of time to go over the pictures and discuss with me the possibilities and also suggest what he thinks would work well with my face shape and hair texture. He was mindful that I wanted to have a cut that I could let airdry and would still look good. I decided to take most of his suggestions and he did a wonderful job! I have never been so impressed with a haircut or received so many compliments. Most importantly, he listened to what I wanted and offered suggestions based off that. Highly recomended!! Pros: Professional, relaxed atmosphere, lots of experience and knowledge. more

Adrian is a Genius Creative Chemist!!!! 1/30/2007

I absolutely LOVE my hair!!! After a year of searching through the sea of SF salons for someone I can trust, but who can bring solid advice to the table....I have found it in Adrian!!! He is more than a hair designer....he is a chemist! He loves the chemistry of color more than any stylist I have ever met----and I have had my hair done by Bumble & Bumble NY, B2V in LA, Sebastian in LA, Garon in NY and Diapetro Todd in SF. I consider myself an expert consumer in hair! He takes small risks that make a big difference. I recommended him to my roomate and we both feel so good about our hair! He went a little darker than we expected on both of us....so bewarer of that. But, it is so worth it! Darker is something I would have never thought would have looked good and I feel my hair is the best it has looked in years. He uses very safe and vibrant colors----colors you do not fidnnd colorists in SF using often because they are expensive for him to purchase! No Wella here folks! He uses color from Schwarzkopf who create some of the richest and interesting shades I have ever seen. Plus, he is not overly expensive....ok, he is not cheap....but at least you get what you pay for amd more with Adrian! I love him! more

Adrian is a true talent. I stumbled into a salon nearly seven years ago where Adrian was cutting hair. At the time I'd been jumping from high-end salon to high-end salon trying to find a great fit. Even though I'm a guy with short hair you'd be amazed at how particular I can be. From the minute I sat down in Adrian?s chair I had a good feeling. Adrian and I have always worked cooperatively on creating my styles. From funky to conservative he's taken my hair there in good taste. From shaved to a shaggy I know I will get a great cut that not only looks amazing when I walk out the salon door, it grows out amazingly well. His passion for hair comes through in every cut. Best of all Adrian is constantly honing his skills through classes and seminars to make sure his technique is on the cutting edge. If you are looking for a cut that is also a personal awakening I highly suggest you jump into Adrian?s chair. Best hair experience in the city 10/27/2006

Adrian is the best in San Fran. I moved here about a year ago after college and bounced around trying to find somewhere to get my hair done and I am really happy I found Adrian. His professionalism and patience along with his knowledge & experience are impressive. Before Adrian, my hair looked unnatural and brassy. He listened to what I wanted and I love my natural result. I've also gotten a great cut from him---he always takes time to make sure his job is perfect. He has a true passion for what he does and it shows as you walk out the door! He is super accessible over email and I love the online appts. Getting my hair done is a special treat I save up for and Adrian makes it totally worth it. Hair Perfection 9/30/2006

Adrian has been my colorist and stylist for approximately four years. My loyalty to him is a direct result of his professionalism and attention to detail. Before my experiences with Adrian, I often found my hair color to be unnatural looking and an obvious result of coloring. Adrian's expert technique has resulted in a natural color that adds to my cut rather that detracts from it. Speaking of cuts, my fine hair requires a lot of texturizing and Adrian, being a perfectionist, takes the time to ensure that the cut adds body and style to my hair. Adrian's relaxed personality also makes you feel at ease during the whole process. It is difficult for me to make calls during my busy days, so I like being able to do this at night online, and to see his openings and compare them with my schedule. more

A Fabulous Cut! 9/7/2006

I moved to the city dreading the thought of changing stylists...as a result it had been a while since my last cut. Then I found Adrian through reviews here on citysearch. Everyone is right! I couldn't be happier with my hair. He didn't try to talk me into anything crazy and despite it being my first visit, I felt like a valuable client. The online appointment scheduling is easy and convenient. I will definitely be going back for color soon, he's worth every penny! Pros: great skill & service Cons: none! more

Great cut, color! 8/13/2006

I've been looking for a new stylist for many months and am so happy I found Adrian! He listened intently to what I was looking for and really spent a lot of time talking through the cut and sharing his ideas before he began. My hair cut is exactly what I wanted! I came in for color the following week and am excited about the results. Again, he talked through with me the aspects of my current color that I liked, what changes I was interested in making, and helped come up with a great new color that I love. In all, I couldn't be happier with the service or the results. more

Tastful eclectic era decor..airy and delightfully comfortable. All employees welcoming and charming 8/9/2006

Adrian knows his coloring!! I had my first colorwork done since I was 13. Turning 55 I thought it was high time to get a lift (without surgery!). I was drab blond with the onset of gray. All I knew was that I hoped to have a perked up look. Adrian instinctively knew what I needed and gave me exactly the look that I wanted. Nothing drastic just younger, healthier and livelier looking hair. I will return! more

Excellent color and cut! 8/2/2006

Adrian is a true professional. I found him on citysearch after reading all the great reviews, and they were right. Adrian really understands color and face structure and works with me to find the best options. He is always keeping up on the latest products and carefully explains their pros and cons. He takes his time and is careful to give me a cut and color that I want and that works best with my coloring and face structure. He is also pleasant to work with and talk to. A genuinely nice person. I've already been back 3 times and satisfied with each visit.. more

Adrian is a master of figuring out exactly what I want. When I don't know exactly what I want, he can figure out what I would want and what my hair can do. For the first time in my life I have someone who can turn my ""frog fur"" into lovely locks! And my haircoloring gets me complements from people on the street. more

BEING NEW TO THE AREA I WAS LOOKING FOR A HAIRDRESSER. ADRIAN WAS RECOMMENDED TO ME BY A FRIEND AND I HAVE BEEN EXTREMELY HAPPY! ADRIAN DOES MY HAIR EXACTLY HAS I ASK. HE NEVERS CUTS MORE THAN I ASK, WHICH IS VERY IMPORTANT TO ME, AND HE DOES MY COLOR CHANGES (THAT I AM CONSTANTLY ASKING FOR) PERFECTLY. I HAVE GONE FROM DARK TO BLONDE AND ALL IN BETWEEN, AND ADRIAN JUST GOES ALONG WITM MY WHIMS AND DOES HAS I ASK HIM TO. SEVERAL TIMES I HAVE WENT IN, NOT BEING SURE WHAT I REALLY WANTED, SO I SIMPLY ASKED ADRIAN FOR HIS THOUGHTS ON WHAT WOULD BE 'FLATTERING' FOR MY FACE AND WE DISCUSSED HIS THOUGHTS AND MY HAIR TURNED OUT GREAT!!! Great cut and style 7/30/2006

I went to Adrian on a recommendation from NattyM... down below. On a whim one Friday I booked an appointment online for the same day. That was the easiest thing, ever! I received my confirmation via email and was impressed by this. I must say I was very happy with the outcome. The place is great, clean, fun and the people are extremely nice. Adrian is very attentative and makes great suggestions. I recommend him and plan on going back for my second meet. more

Someone who really knows how to cut wavy hair! 7/26/2006

I found Adrian on City Search. I was looking for someone to cut my wavy hair without have to pay the high prices I had been paying. From the start, I loved the ease of making my appointment using his website, and getting the confirmation by email. I showed up on time, but unfortunately he was running late that day. He offered me a glass of wine, which I enjoyed while I waited. It was so worth the wait! He patiently asked me about what I wanted, listened, offered suggestions, and proceeded to give me the best hair cut I have had in months. It is now over a month since that cut, and it still looks fantastic. I would highly recommend Adrian to anyone with difficult hair.
