A knowledgeable, dedicated compassionate doctor. she is vastly superior in her field. She will go above and beyond what current practice dictates. You cannot get better knowledge of infectious disease treatment. She'll be honest with you and explain as much as you ask to be told. She will educate you on your condition and prevention. Absolutely the best doctor anyone my famly has experienced. more

I have never dealt with a less caring, less compassionate doctor in many years of family illnesses. Extremely arrogant and confrontational. Its a shame that this otherwise fantastic practice allows its reputation to be tarnished by having this "doctor" in their practice. more

Might work for you but wasted my $$ and time. She is not Lymes literate as far as I can see. For example, she insisted on having the Western Blot from Stamford Hospital - full cost $1200, uninsured patient cost $900, later I find out the the most respected test is from Igenex, just under $1000 full price. I had to have all the work done over. more

I don't care what anyone says- Dr. Adler-Klein is the BEST doctor around. I have heard countless stories about lives that she has saved and this includes my own. It is a true gift to have a doctor that is as nice, giving, personable, helpful and compassionate as she (and funny too!) DAK is the best! more

Dr. Adler-Klein mistreated me and failed to properly treat the complications that arose from my IV catheter just about to the point of malpractice. To add insult to injury, she also verbally abused me when I informed I had extreme trouble getting a call back from her office. I had extreme pain associated with my catheter and was desperate for advice on how to proceed/get treatment for the pain. I called and called and called to no avail. When I brought this up to her she became indignant, pompous, ego-maniacal, and verbally abusive. She promptly suggested I could walk out the door whenever I chose if I didn't like the way she did things. I have never encountered such an unprofessional "professional" in my life, that includes all walks of life! I was completely disrespected and dismissed. Think twice before being treated by her. The wait for an appointment and so-called "treatment" is NOT worth it. She is not a caregiver and should be ashamed of herself. There are plenty of other area doctors fully capable of treating Lyme disease in the proper efficient manner. more

When my son ended up with Lyme disease last fall every professional I spoke with: nurses, pediatricians, etc. all directed me to Dr. Adler-Klein. We scheduled an appointment and when her office staff determined that they didn't accept our insurance plan, Dr. Adler-Klein agreed to a consultation anyway. In this day and age when money is everything, Dr. Adler-Klein has her priorities in the right place: her main focus is in helping patients. On a clinical level, she definitely was the most knowledgeable professional I encountered in the field of Lyme disease diagnosis and treatment. She also has a wonderful “bedside manner.” I would definitely recommend her highly. more

I am currently seeing Dr/ Adler-Klein for Lyme disease and think she is the absolute best around. I drive over an hour to see her - but it is well worth the drive and the traffic because she is amazing. She spends a long time with you - unlike many doctors these days. She also really knows what she is doing. She is a specialist in the field of specialists. Although it may take awhile to get an appointment with her - I don't think I could have any higher praisers for her! more
