Adeni, Shubha MD; Lakeway Pediatric Associates

When it comes to taking care of our children, we never settle for anything but the best. We have been here in Lakeway for 6 years now and are coming to the tail end of needing a pediatrician as our little ones are now in their late teens and early twenties. Over the last several years, Dr. Adeni has been there for us and provided a level of care that we have never experienced before. She and her entire staff are caring and kind and have always made us feel extremely confident about the treatment our kids were receiving. Dr. Adeni has walked through some tough circumstances with us and really helped resolve what were some very difficult situations. We will always be indebted to her for her expertise and professionalism and would recommend her to anyone looking for a doctor to care for their children. more

We recently moved to the area, and feel very fortunate that we have found Dr Adeni. My children are older: they are teenagers and older elementary-school-aged kids, and Dr Adeni is their fourth pediatrician. They LOVE her: they like how respectful she is with their growing and changing bodies; they like how she speaks to them as though they are people; and they also like how she explains what she is going to do, why she needs to do it, and what she discovered. In other words: Dr Adeni treats them as active participants in their medical care. \r \r I very much appreciate her demeanor and the time she takes with us. We have always been fortunate with our pediatricians, and Dr Adeni is a jewel. \r \r Her staff is friendly as well, and follow through with any necessary medical requests in a timely manner. My Wife and I love Dr. Adeni and her wonderful staff. We have been with her since the birth of our first child and now we are taking our second kiddo to Dr Adeni. We have been seeing Dr. Adeni for 7 years as our Pediatrician. She really cares about the well being of our children and is a doctor because she wants to give the best medical care she can to our kids. Her office staff is also kind and helpful. I visited with Dr. Adeni before the birth of my daughter in 2006, and was thrilled when she came to the hospital to meet Lydia and talk with us about newborn care. Dr. Adeni treated Lydia when she was located in Rolling Wood, and we liked her so much that we decided to follow her to Lakeway, when her practice moved. Dr. Adeni is such a compassionate and gentle physician, and she's always treated my daughter with kindness. I like that Dr. Adeni has always been very thoughtful about my daughter's treatment and has not jumped to prescribe medication for every illness. We have been so happy with the care that Lydia's received from Dr. Adeni and her staff for the past 7 years. more

My husband and I moved to Austin 2 years ago and had concerns about finding a great pediatrician. Our insurance accepted Dr. Adeni, so we met with her prior to our daughter's birth to see what we thought. \r \r From the first time we met her, we loved her. She has always been very attentive, helpful and truly concerned about my daughter. \r \r She is great about taking phone calls 24/7. My daughter is now 2 and she gets really excited every time she goes and sees Dr. Adeni. Having a child and parent both feel comfortable with the doctor says a lot. I highly recommend her!! more

My wife and I have taken our two children to Dr. Adeni for the last 3 years. We love Dr. Adeni. Dr. Adeni is warm, personable, and cares deeply for our children and their health. What sets Dr. Adeni apart is her availability on and off the clock. She will call us back at any time of the day or night, we can get our children in to her office when there is a sudden sickness or issue. I found Dr. Adeni thanks to citysearch and other lakeway mommy's raving over her professional, friendly, and outstanding care for children. And I must say I am very pleased. She returns her own phone calls in a timely manner. What doctor does that? Not one I've met! She knows her stuff and she is the most thorough pediatrician I've ever had. She doesn't stop till she gets to the bottom of it. Not only is she great, but she has the best of the best nurse. My kids love her, she's very friendly, great with kids, and always has a smile, which is a must when your dealing with children. She went out of her way to help us. And the BEST part she gave my kids 4 shots and they didn't even feel it! The quickest shots I've EVER seen! Shots are scary for kids. But She comforted them and made them feel at ease. Not at all like most nurses who just hold them down to get it over with so they can get on with there work. I was very impressed! The only down side was she only had two toys in the waiting room. And one was broken! And the receptionist came off a little rude, by after a few visits I realized that's just her. Strictly business.Keep up the good work! And please nurse Jennifer NEVER EVER leave! I will definitely refer all the lakeway moms to her. And as for me and my kids, we will be long time customers. more

We first met Dr. Adeni about two years ago because her office was right next to ours. I decided to give her a try and it has been the best decision I have taken. We first met Dr. Adeni in 2003 when we started to look for a pediatrician during our pregnancy. We liked her alot as she spent time with us explaining about new parenting. Fast forwarding to now, we have three beautiful girls. Dr. Adeni has been excellent with our kids and very prompt in seeing them when they are sick. She and her staff always spent time with us during appointments explaining and answering any questions we have. A friend of mine told me about Lakeway Pediatrics (Dr. Adeni) five years ago. She told me that the staff and Dr. Shubha Adeni were great with kids and taking care of business. I have two children, both girls 3 and 5 and there is no place I would rather take them. It's about a 20 min drive for me but worth every bit of gas and time. The staff always takes the time to answer and questions I might have about one of my girls when they are sick and quickly get them in to see the Dr. that same day. The staff is very prompt and competent when it come to referrals and Dr. Adeni has such a natural bedside manner that the children love her. So do I. I recommend Lakeway pediatric to everyone. I am new to the area and got REAL lucky when picking Dr. Adeni. She is AWESOME! She is loving, caring and so very patient. When she visits with you and your child, you feel she has no other patients... your child is her complete focus. She treated my teenagers as if they were family, showed genuine concern and tenderness toward both my children. Never has a pediatrican been so patient like she is. We've been with Dr. Adeni since the prenatal visit with our first child...so, over five years now. Dr. Adeni is knowledgeable, caring, compassionate, wonderful with kids, and trustworthy - and surrounds herself with an exceptional staff! I really don't have enough room here to describe all of her wonderful qualities - Dr. Adeni and her staff go above and beyond. I wouldn't even think of going anywhere else for pediatric care. She sincerely cares for our boys as if they were her own, and they adore her! We have always been able to get an appt. when needed and have always received a prompt call back in the middle of the night/weekends. The office is very comfortable, clean, and the waiting area is separated into sick/well chid waiting areas. I am thrilled to have found her, (she was recommended by my OB). Dr Adeni is a great pediatrician. Even though she moved her officer even further from where we lived we decided to stick with her as the doctor for both of our children. The staff is great, friendly and easy to get a hold of. When we moved to Austin we went through many doctors and have not found one better then her. Would highly recommend her to any one because she tends to make our worries her worries and that helps us out when the kids are sick. more

We moved to Austin from out of town and our son was very sick. We luckily found Dr. Adeni and Dr. Alfaro who works for the office when Dr. Adeni is out. I cannot thank them enough for the calls, the questions, and the care they put into solving my son's issues. No one I have ever taken my son to has ever gone to this extreme to care for my child. Dr. Adeni always returns the calls and listens to your questions. Dr. Alfaro called just to ask how my son was doing and offer additional suggestions on what may be the cause of the medical issues. When was the last time a doctor called out of care and curiosity without the patient calling for help?
