My husband and I went to Adega the other Saturday for late dinner. We did not know anything about the restaurant, though we frequent at other establishments in the neighbourhood. The long narrow restaurant was decorated with bricks and fake grapes, and a pianist was playing music - romantic. Menu was on the expensive side for Newark, but service was excellent. There were many wait staff, and they kept switching around when one of them were called upon or helping customers. I felt like having dinner in a house with a bunch of butlers. Food was as good as other Spanish/Portugese fairs nearby, including dessert. I will go back for the ambience, because others are more like family friendly. This place is recommended for a date - gentlemen, trust me on this.
Pros: Romantic, Superb Wait Staff
