I was drinking at Off the Wagon across the street this past summer, and a pretty new looking tattoo shop caught my eye. Having been to at least 4 different shops in the past, once I went in I was astounded to see how clean the shop was (something that I think says a lot about a shop and it's artists), and how passionate the artists were about helping with custom work. I only had a vague idea of what I wanted to get done, but by the end I not only had a kick-ass tattoo design, but my girlfriend made an appointment to come back to get a piercing. Not a smoker myself, but it seems like there were a few cool pipes in the store too. I've finally found the perfect spot to get work done! Skilled artists and a nice, low-key shop.
Pros: Large selection of catalogues (piercers are able to special order and make jewelery),friendly and really knowledgeable staff, good music playing
Cons: Bathroom is really small, lol; you can't park on the street during weekdays but there's nearby parking
