Adcox, William, Md - Family Medicine Specialist

I have been using this practice for over ten years and I must say it doesn't get any better than Dr. Jackson. But Dr. Jackson has moved on to the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville. Now that Dr. J is gone so is the patient care. I have called to make an appointment several times over the past month and got the answering machine where I stated my name dob etc and never received a return phone call WTH??? You can't get anyone on the phone. You must leave a message for everything. If you're looking for a good doctors office skip this place! It's certainly not what it used to be. more

My family & I have been patients here for several years & have seen all but one provider. Although we have a ""favorite"", we are comfortable seeing any of the providers present. Each one really seems to care about what you are saying, treat you as if you are intelligent, and take the time necessary to help whatever ""ails"" you. The front office staff is very efficient at making sure any referrals needed are taken care of and will even call the specialist's office to get an appointment for you sooner than you could on your own. In the 9 or 10 years we have been patients at this office we have only had one thing ""fall through the cracks"". I would recommend this office to anyone who is tired of feeling like just a means to a paycheck. Pros: take time to listen & very up to date on newest tx more

These people are only out to get your money. They do not care about their patients. When we went for a back injury, they prescribed a very weak pain medication even though the pain was described as seveare and intense. When we called to request an alternative medication, I was told it would be taken care of. An hour later, they called me back onyl to tell me they wouldn't talk to me about the patient (even though there was a signed release in the file stating they COULD talk to me - they didn't bother to look.) They said they would call the patient and NEVER did. When the patient called back, they refused to call in a prescription unless we came back to pay another expensive doctor bill when they saw him less than 24 hours ago.
