Adam's Feed Store is the best! 5/27/2012

I buy my dog food, cat food and supplies from Adam's Feed Store. They have good prices, friendly staff and are always willing to answer any questions I have regarding their products and my pets. They were even very consoling to me after my 12 year old Corgi passed away & allowed me to return her unopened flea treatment for a refund. They are fantastic folks and I highly recommend them! I am and will continue to be a regular customer at Adams. more

We love visiting this store! 1/23/2011

Good: The people are so nice. They carry such a wide variety of animal supplies but also a wonderful mix of plants, outdoor furniture and fun odds and ends. Can't resist seeing all the precious puppies.. Bad: Prices could be a little lower on pet food.. Improvements: Little better of prices but other than that....nothing.. Other: Is Adams owned by different owners than in 2009? I ask because of all the negative comments about uncared for animals. I only see playful happy puppies and they have puppies frequently that have been dumped and they have partnered with a local vet to vaccinate and spay or neuter for you. It is included in the price many of times. Just curious because we see only good things.. more

Super Feed Store, friendly staff and always ready to help you find what you are looking for. Great store specials, garden items, pet supplies and more. Adam's Feed is an advocate of the community, supporting local schools, charities and rescue groups. Don't let the negative reviews fool you! It's a few folks who are intent in hurting this business and driving them out of Arlington. more

Adam’s Feed is a full-service pet and feed store. They offer a full line of pet supplies and feed, home and garden supplies, hay, firewood, live bait, U-Haul services & live plants. If you are looking for something the store doesn't have, Adam will get it for you. Service is friendly, and helpful. They help out the community with projects and fundraisers. The store does have live animals, and they are well cared for and are NOT from a puppy mill. All animals are on consignment. The store routinely offers low-cost vet clinics, informational classes on feed nutrition and free events. A great place! Do Not Shop at Adams 11/14/2009

Good: Nothing--unethical business exploiting animals.. Bad: I went to Adams for the first time today because I did not have time to drive to my usual feed store in Fort Worth. I was appalled when I saw puppies and kittens being sold. These animals are clearly from people who are breeding animals for the purpose of earning money without regard for animal welfare. Adams earns 20% from each sale. I will never return to Adams again. I will not support a business that profits from the sale of animals who are clearly being breed for dollars!!. Improvements: Stop selling animals. more

DO NOT GO HERE - Animal Abuse 7/30/2009

They do not take care of the animals they sale. They do not feed them enough and they never have water. The animals are left dead in cages for days and the other animals start to eat them. The city has been investigating them for a long time, and finally they did a raid on them and took all of the animals away, but I saw today that they have their "puppies" sign back out in front of the store. They also have a FOR SALE sign out front too!!! Yippee!!!!! This place needed to be shut down a long time ago. more

Animal Cruelty 4/18/2009

This place keeps their animals in horendous conditions. ALL OF THEM!! The puppies are kept in very small over crowded cages that are covered in urine and feces. The smell is overpowering when you walk into the place. All there ducks,chickens, rabbits,birds hamsters are kept in appaling conditions and are walking in there own feces. One duck inparticular had a large burn on one of its wings obviously from the heat lamp it was exposed to.The fish are starving and eating each other. Never seen fish with their ribs sticking out due to starvation.Sad. I dont know why the city has not closed this place down. I could go on and on but I think you get the point. more

On those cold, dreary days when your grocery megastore has no fire wood, try Adam's Feed Store. They sell it by the log ($.75), by the "apartment stack" and by the cord. Friendly, helpful people. When the weather begins to warm, visit Adam's for your green onion sets, tomato plants, etc. If you have nothing better to do on a Saturday morning, stop by to visit the puppies for sale, the ducks, bunnies, chickens, fish, lizards, turtles, etc. You probably will not go home alone.... more
