I had a bad experience at Dr. Adams. After waiting an hour, I was finally seen for a comprehensive eye exam. The prescription Dr. Adams was recommended wasn't strong enough; I told him I couldn't see the chart where I was used to, he said that eyes change with age, rather than adjusting the prescription. The contact prescription he wrote, was also the wrong correction for my eyes and with the wrong base curvature as well so I couldn't see clearly nor comfortably. I gave him the benefit of the doubt thinking my eyes would "get used" to the prescription. Obviously, that didn't happen. I later went to a different optometrist; he gave me a new prescription, different from Dr. Adams' and one that enabled me to see clearly and comfortably. For the expense (and hour spent waiting), I expected to leave with a good prescription. I cannot recommend that office to anyone and will not return.
