They started out GREAT; they were almost as good as my primary vet. I think that eventually a dog owner will regret having them as their care givers. I do not go to them that often, but there were little signs that this was not the place for me or my pets. Hind sight is 20/20. \r \r There is SO MUCH heartbreak being a good breeder. We don't need it compounded by rough handling. My breed is under scrutiny of ban. The serious breeders have aged and are retiring. We have very little high quality breeders left. I am one of the youngest show breeders in the country. Our tireless hours and the money spent to bring this breed back from the brink AND be reputable is something to be commended. It takes love and it takes passion. \r \r Passion can also get out of hand. People expect me to understand, especially when they realize they were wrong about me. I regret that I didn't find Dr. Brucker & staff sooner, but I'm glad I finally did. After too many years of dealing with what I can only describe as incompetence from another Vet. I finally followed my gut and went on the hunt for another vet, I heard great things about Acute Care & decided to give them a try. After my 1st visit, I knew I had found my new vet. It took Dr. Brucker 20 minutes to figure out what the other vet couldn't in 4 years. the best part is after that 1st visit my sweet dog Lil' Man went home pain free & for most of the days/years since has remained in good health, as for the days he's not feeling so well - Dr. Brucker always has a solution. Don't assume that your Vet knows what they are doing just because they should, If you have that doubting feeling don't ignore it. more

This is MY VET of choice! Dr Brucker and staff have treated my cats and now 2 dogs who have adopted me. My Bichon BOOMER was knicked near his "little boy" area and suffered greatly. Wouldn't eat, walk.. zilch! Developed a fever. Took him in and Dr. Brucker took care of BOOMER and gave him all reasonable and necessary care and THE BEST PART.. Dr. Brucker TOOK THE TIME to speak with me personally over the phone to explain things to me about the care. Professional, Kind and Compassionate! Thumbs up for Jonathan the VET TECH!
