I've used this business several times and they've gotten the job done but they are not cheap. The last job was to replace a boiler and they charged me $500 more than the estima...

What I like about the company is that they're up-front, they tell you honestly ""This is what it's going to take."" from a plugged sewer line to a PRV bell that has quit working. They do a good job. more

Hotels, Inc 5/16/2012

I've used this business several times and they've gotten the job done but they are not cheap. The last job was to replace a boiler and they charged me $500 more than the estimate. Today I went there for a small part and they wanted to charge me 14.95 for a small gasket. I thought that outrageous so left and found it elsewhere for 4.95. I'm done using this company. more

I will never call on Action Mechanical again! 12/21/2011

Absolutely awful! Please don't ever use Action Mechanical. It took them 7 weeks to finally do the work we requested. Totally unorganized and incredibly unprofessional. The woman who answers the phones is mean and never schedules anything. All the work we had them do had to be redone. I will never use Action Mechanical again. Please stay away from these guys! more

Scam Artists! 6/1/2010

Be careful when allowing this company into your business and home. We recieved notice from the Rapid City Development Service Center on a follow up on a Building Permitt. Action Mechanical after they did not recieve the work, they filed a Building Permit to perform the work which never took place. (Quoting Combustion Air).\r \r I question the ability for a company to file a permit without the consent of an owner and the City of Rapid City indicated that they do not require it. So any company can go down to the City and write up any permit. Then the city has every right to follow up on that permit to see if any work was done. To Code Obviously! more
