They changed my waterheater. Heater was under warrenty and the labor was $625. Charged me $415 to change a shower valve. Told me the valve was $150, later found out it was about $...

They changed my waterheater. Heater was under warrenty and the labor was $625. Charged me $415 to change a shower valve. Told me the valve was $150, later found out it was about $80. Job took 20 min. They wanted to change the water pressure regulator for $593. Regulater cost me $95 at Home Depot and took me 15 min to put it in myself. There work is alright but there charges are way out of line - avoid them! more

They came out to find a landscape drain and charged me $225 just to find a drain ,they found one drain not very deep in the ground which we found earlier not the one I was not looking for and after I told them its not the one,they looked for a few more minutes then told me no and i paid that much...still gett'n over it.... more

Best Plumber? 9/15/2008

OMG, are you kidding me? Rescue Rooter is completely incompotent!!! They tried for two days to clear my pipes with a sledge hammer. They wacked the walls without permission like brainless monkeys. Broke three of their rooters. Wanted to reroute plumbing on the outside of the walls for thousands of dollars. They did not pay for all the damage they caused. I only got a slight rebate after their sister company ProServe cleared the drains within two hours for half of what they charged. What a joke. I reported them to beebeebee and will never do business with service magic. You can also try Coast Plumbing or some of the handman company's do plumbing as well. Pros: None! Vastly Overcharges 10/19/2007

I used them to replace my water heater and they charged me three times what it should have cost. Avoid them! Pros: Did decent work Cons: Way overpriced!! more
