The food, the service, the atmosphere is just wonderful. Its a nice place to take a date or the family. My personal favorite is the Moshari Psito Tips.

Acropolis - Great food! 1/4/2009

We love Acropolis! The Gyros there are so good! Huge portion sizes too, The service has always been fast and the staff is always friendly and helpful. We have eaten in and also gotten food to go and it has always been great! more

Haven't found a meal yet... 1/4/2009

I havent found a meal that I like there, my husband and kids always seem to find something great. I hope to experience something great one day so we will keep coming back and trying. Dining experience is ok, kinda slow at times. I prefer to get take out from them mostly! more

A great place for take out 1/4/2009

We like Acropolis and only go there for take out. If you eat inside plan to be there awhile. It seems like everytime we went inside we were sitting at the table for over an hour and it took forever to get waited on and get our food. Their menu has a great variety (almost too much) and their servers seem to be running on a slow speed. Though the taste of their food is wonderful and we still enjoy it, but only for take out! more

Sunday Specials 9/3/2006

This restaurant is off of I-77, heading North out of Charlotte, but well worth the drive. We had a lovely Sunday evening dinner in traditonal Greek style at a restaurant with easy access on and off busy exit 28, when you come off the exit go to the right. Waitress was very professional. I recomment the Greek Chicken. Portions are large, as we each took home a box for another meal. Now for the deserts!!!! the selection is tremendous. We had the Florida Sunshine Cake. It was light and refreshing, perfect for cleaning the palette after a meal. Very reasonable priced with menu items from $5-$16. Pros: Traditonal Greek Food Cons: A little out of Charlotte more

Worth the visit! 7/30/2005

We just moved here and happened to be staying in a hotel near the Acropolis Cafe and Grill. We walked over for dinner on a Sunday and were completely thrilled with the meal, atmosphere, and service. We ordered their half of roasted chicken entree which included sides, bread, and salad; not generally included or found at many restaurants these days. The portions were unbelievable, the price was very inexpensive, and the taste was mouth-watering! The service was impeccable and the atmosphere was very serene! We will definitely visit this restaurant again! more

Some fun for everyone 5/31/2003

I have been to Acropolis a couple times. Treatment is excellent, especially more important since I went with a large group of people twice. Attentive to our needs. The prices are excellent. The gyro is very good for what you are going to get in this area. It's not cut off of the lamb leg as is in authentic Greek restaurants. but the cucumber sauce is great (Tzatziki?) The domadaciaus (meat and rice wrapped in grape leaves) are excellent. Please excuse the spelling. Also the deserts are delicious, did I mention the pizza or baked spaghetti special. Starting to get the picture. The place is fun and they will do a great job. Go. Pros: Service, Excellent Food, Great Prices Cons: none truely more
