I am a single mom. I work full time & go to school in downtown indy part time. I had been saving every penny I could to get us a dependable vehicle & just pay cash out right. I bought a used van in Oct. 2011 from the Shelbyville Acra (but they had it delievered from the Greensburg location), I have had nothing but problems since I got it. Everything from electrical issues to transmission issues & everything in between. It has a DVD player in it, I was promised it worked- Guess what... It doesnt & they refused to fix it! Not to mention it was almost 2,000 miles past on needing an oil change- they also refused to have done 4 me. As of April 2012 I am getting rid of the van! I even had an inside employee that is a friend of my mom's, telling us which vehicles to get & not get. My van was supposably a safe bet! I dont think any of their cars are a safe bet! A good friend of mine went as another cashing paying customer, in Dec. 2011 and got a van. I never got my referal check from them for sending a friend (so dont ever count on that, although they make it sound good). To make it even better she has had nothing but problems with her van as well. Her ""dummy"" lights coming on & now engine problems & then some. Its April 2012! This place is a joke - a total rip off! If you dont believe me still- between my friend & I we have 2 of their cars you can come test drive!!! more

So I saw an ad for a used car. Bought it. And you know what? I got a lemon. These guys put on all kinds of parts that were not original. LIke cheap second hand stuff. SO over a thousand dollars later, I paid ANOTHER dealer to get the car in shape. What happened to integrity of local businesses? Pros: Cheap Cons: turned out to be real expensive more

I've bought a lot of cars in my day. But was real disappointed with my purchase at Acra shelbyvill. Dealer advertised car as waranteed and upon close of deal turned out car wasn't covered. Asked for help from them and they refused. Maybe others have had luck here but have to say, it would have been easy to rectify the situation. Never ever had this happen before so leave with a real bad feeling. Pros: great selection Cons: weak folow up. didnt live up to warrantee promise more
