The Lunch buffet is soooo delicious, and beautifully set out. The buffet table is immaculate. The wait staff is very attentive to your every need. The atmosphere is so relaxing. I have also ordered off the menu, and my goodness...it is the BEST! The bread is served warm, and it is just scrumptious! Not only is the price value there, the service, ambiance and the staff make you feel at home there. I personally eat there a few times a week...and I always enjoy it....Once you try it...you too, will keep going back for more! more

we left our car with the valet on saturday night aug 4, 2012 and he rolled down the drive side window. when we finished eating and our car was brought to us the window was down. the valet accused us of coming in with a broken window and accused us of lying about it and had a huge smirk on his face like we were trying to pull something. whose responsibility is it when we come to a fine dining restaurant and leave our car with the valet and it is not returned the same way we left it. john the manager ws rude to us and we were told by another employee the owner is an absentee owner. more

Took my 94 year old grandmother here for her birthday, and we were both impressed. I had the Calamari appetizer (spicy), and was very impressed. The portion was generous, and the taste was fantastic. For secundi she had the veal marsala and I had the chicken marsala... both were delicious and massive. I would highly recommend this place to anyone wanting great tasting Italian with friendly service - and all for a fair price. more

... but then again this is the internet.\r \r Yes, I have seen people at other tables complaining but to put it bluntly there is a certain demographic in South Florida that habitually complains at every restaurant in the hope of haggling the price down, their food looked great, and this place is not particularly cheap.\r \r All I can say is that in half a dozen visits I've found it to be pretty much faultless and has becomes my family's go-to location for special occasions. Everything from the bread to the biscotti and home made limoncello is absolutely top drawer. The burnt broccoli is to die for, the spedino is simple classic with huge flavours, and the red-pepper based sauce that comes with the lobster ravioli is absolutely stupendous. Clearly the kitchen knows what it is doing. We find the staff to be unfailingly nice, but then again we don't go to restaurants and look for faults to try to haggle the price down. The only legitimate knock on this place is that it's not cheap but then again it's not Mortons prices either. more

When I arrived in my new Mercedes, the valet took the car, screeched the wheels and ran it thru a large puddle of water (on a dry day). When I complained to the OWNER, he said he also had a Mercedes, and obviously did not care about me, or my car. I will not return ever. Also met someone who told me that the waiter tried to RUSH these two women OUT because the waiter had some other customers waiting. No reason to tolerate these things, when you are paying. more

After reading some of the negative reviews I was tempted not to take our daughter to Acquolina Ristorante.\r I had been to the restorant many times before. When it was under a different name and when it changed hands.\r We were always satisfied. My daughter said go with your gut feeling, we did.\r Superb! The food was excellant and the service as always, very good. Our waiter was delightful and very helpful. We are not sorry that we went for a wonderful evening. more

Stay away they wont be in business this time next year, birthday party 16thOct the course's arrived at different times they say it was computer trouble but only 18 people in large rest we were 7. Lots of apologize, when we left 10% tip which was 10% too much the waiter came & created hell...the mandatory Valet Parking guy came to our table at 9:45 said he was leaving and plonked keys on table...said he worked for tips !!! Food was acceptable but would'nt go back if they paid me. You've been warned !!!!!!!! more

Don't waste your time. This place is full of drunk old people who are looking for discounts. Went there on a Saturday night, crowded bar, empty dinning room, now I know why. If you want family style go to Matteos, they are the real deal. Ask for Mickey, he is always there and always treats us like family. Should never have tried this knock off place. more

Let me start with the beginning, I called Acquolina a few nights before and spoke with John, he was very helpful in helping me choose a menu that was sure to treat my guest. Well did he come through!!! We had non-stop service from the moment we arrived until we got in our cars and drove away. The food was excellent, and plentiful and the wait staff was very attentive to my quests needs. I would reccomend it to anyone!! ENJOY :) more

I had an 8:30 PM reservation for six. Arrived at 8:00 PM and waited ay the bar until after 9:00 PM. Finally we were seated only to be served by a surly, rude waiter who refused to take our order because he claimed that the table was for eight people. After this confrontation we were met by an equally crude and rude manager who should be discharged for mismanagement. Aditionally, when we first arrived I was met by an outgoing customer who advised to be careful in what we ordered because the food was bad quality and caused him to be ill.\r I'm actually happy that we left without eating and went across the street to Christine Lee for an excellent meal.\r I predict the demise of Aqualuna Restaurant the sooner the better more

Editorial review from Urbanspoon 2/27/2010

We were disappointed on a recent visit. We had a very cocky, macho Latin waiter. We received an Arugula salad with wilted Arugula that was either old or had the dressing on to long. When we complained to the waiter he argued with us about how everything there was fresh. We said just look at it! Two of my baked clams smelled bad, I didn't even mention it. The restaurant has gotten very popular and is definitely declining, lacking management and supervision. I've seen the owner sit in the lobby many days instead of supervising and making sure people are well served and things are running properly. The clock may be ticking for their demise if this continues. more

With the lineups I noticed passing by,I expected better.\r The salad was not very tasty, rather bland for a Caesar salad.\r The main dish was ok for veal parmigane but nothing special. You have to order sides, not included with the main dishes, but the price for the veal was not out of line.\r The service was passable but far from extraordinary.\r The washroom {mens) was in dire need of tidying up.It was not at all presentable for a restaurant which is trying to present itself as a better restaurant, which it is not.\r Would I return-NO-there are better alternatives around.\r Sorry guys... more

Editorial review from Urbanspoon 1/20/2010

Frankly I don't get why so many people like Matteos, it's overpriced. Acquolina has better food, same huge portions if you like to eat like a pig, or smaller, at 10-20% lower prices than Matteos. Outstanding Clams Oreganata, good Sole. more

How do I start. The waiter was bad. The baked ziti was cold.\r My sons pasta dish with broccoli looked to have frozen broccoli used, and the pasta was mushy. Sent that back.\r The waiter told us the manager would come over about the cold baked ziti, he never arrived. We just ate the lousy ziti. First time we had dinner there they served some really good cookies with our coffee, there were 3 of use and we got 3 cookies. This time there were 4 of us and we got 3 cookies, the manager told me on the way out that I should be happy with what I got, sometimes they don't serve the cookies. He was quite surly and unpleasant and could care less that the meal sucked. more
