I HAD BEEN PLAYING ARROUND WITH BOSCH AND ANOTHER APPLIANCE SERVICE COMPANY FOR SEVERAL MONTHS FOR MY ICE MAKER AND MY FREEZER NOT KEEPING FOOD FROZEN ON THE TOP SHELF. AT FIRST THE ICE MAKER WASN'T WORKING, I CALLED BOSCH MY REFRIGERATOR WAS NOT IN WARANTY, BUT I CALLED A BOSCH CERTIFIED REPAIR PERSON ANY WAY. iT TOOK THE FIRST REPAIR PERSON FOREVER TO DIAGNOSE THE WHOLE PROBLEM. HE REPLACED THE ICEMAKER BECAUSE IT WAS BROKEN. THERE WAS STILL A PROBLEM BECAUSE FOOD WASN'T STAYING FROZEN ON THE TOP SHELF AND ICE WAS NOT BEING MADE BY THE ICEMAKER. THERE WAS A LACK OF COMMUNICATION BETWEEN MY HUSBAND AND THIS REPAIR PERSON AND I DIDN'T KNOW THAT ANOTHER PART NEEDED TO BE ORDERED. i CALLED BOSCH WHEN THE ICEMAKER WASN'T WORKING AGAIN AND THEY SUGGESTED I CALL ANNOTHER REPAIR PERSON. i CALLED ACME THEY HAD SOMEONE HERE TO CHECK THE PROBLEM THE NEXT DAY. iT WAS DETERMINED ANOTHER PART WAS NEEDED--A FAN MOTOR-- I CALLED BOSCH AND HAD THE PERSON FROM ACME ON THE OTHER LINE BETWEEN THE THREE OF US WE GOT THE PART NUMBER -- TO FIND OUT THAT IT WAS ON BACK ORDER. tODAY ALMOST TWO WEEKS LATER THE PART CAME IN -- IT WAS OVERNIGHTED FROM CHICAGO. ACME SENT A REPAIR PERSON HERE THIS AFTERNOON TO PUT IT IN. HOPEFULLY THERE WILL BE NO PROBLEM IN THE FUTURE, IF SO, I WILL NOT HESITATE TO CALL ACME THE WORST PART OF THE ORDEAL WAS WAITING FOR PARTS -- IT TOOK FOREVER. nOFAULT TO THE REPAIR PEROSN OR ACME.
