Expert 3/19/2014

Robert, the owner, is an expert at explaining car details to a layman. Every time I asked, "what does that mean?", Robert took the time to carefully explain the problem to me, and I actually understood what he was talking about. more

1974 Corvette 3/12/2014

I have a 1974 corvette that had a few problems. The bigger problem was that I could not find a mechanic I could trust. I had already taken it to two other places which cost me $3k, and neither of them fixed the problems I was having. I took the vehicle to Ace Automotive in Santa Clarita. I could not have asked for a better experience. more

I have a 1974 corvette that had a few problems. The bigger problem was that I could not find a mechanic I could trust. Ace is Aces 3/6/2014

Robert's amazing. I went through 5 mechanics before him and he was the only one who was able to find the problem with my car, charged very reasonable prices and fixed my car. He's very low key, doesn't scare you with a bunch of scenarios of what might be wrong, doesn't play the guessing game and gets things done in a timely manner. The office and garage are very clean, the mechanics are nice and for once I feel confident in a mechanics shop. I will be bringing all my vehicles to Ace Automotive. more

15 years now 2/21/2014

We have been using Ace Automotive for 15 years. We have 3 cars to keep running and we keep our cars an average of 12 years and put about 200,000 miles on them. Robert and Charlie handle the scheduled maintenance at a fair price and the job is ALWAYS done right. At times we have brought cars in to be repaired and they have said "this is a recall" if you take it to the dealer they will repair it for free. How honest is that! We would never go anywhere else. more

The real deal 2/5/2014

These guys are the real deal. Very honest, fair, considerate and they know what they are doing. They are the all around good guys. Hey everybody, don't look through the Yellow pages or ask your friends, just go to ACE. They have taken very good care of me and my cars. Charlie is well known for being the best mechanic in SCV. I took my old van 1/31/2014

I took my old van in and when I got the van back and it felt and sounded like new! the mechanic even fixed some issues i didn’t know about, including making the 4 wheel drive to work which hadn't previously worked since i purchased it last year. The van runs great, it went in with about 260,000 and he said it would last a long time. more

The shop 1/17/2014

The shop was very clean, the staff was very friendly and the mechanic even took his time and was careful dismantling my van due to the fact that there is a lot of electronics inside and wires everywhere, he was careful not to cut or have to remove any of them. I'm glad I came here. more

First the background: 1/16/2014

First the background: My 1987 Toyota broke down on the 5fwy north, just past the 14 fwy. I called AAA for a tow and asked them to recommend a shop near by, they towed me to Ace.This happened on a Tuesday morning, I got the phone call about 12 pm stating that the van had over heated and the head was blown. I went to talk with the Mechanic, who by the way just happened to be a Toyota mechanic for 12 years prior and he was excited to work on the van. I got my car back in a timely manner and it was running like new. more
