Honest Auto Repair 3/27/2011

I took the family van to a local dealership for needed repair estimates. After receiving the usual laundry list of services totaling over $2,300 (nothing in writing, of course.) I went searching for second opinions with little success. I received a couple oil change/free inspection notices from Accurate Auto and decided, What's to lose? On the day I scheduled an appointment, Julie let me know how great it was talking with my father-in-law. His rear brakes went out the day before and he happened to drop in for service. Being a former mechanic himself, I pick his brain a lot with regards to issues and opinions on local shops and he had nothing but high praise for the work he saw here. Good enough recommendation for me. I went the next day and received a similar analysis to the dealership: in writing and 1/3 the hastle. Needless to say, I'll be back! J. Lowe more

Fantastic Customer Service 3/24/2011

Julie was fantastic! I had one day off with a small 3 hour window of free time. I called the day before and Julie made time for me during that window (which happened to be lunch time, poor Brad). They got me in, did the work and got me out in an hour and a half. My biggest problem was trying to figure out what to do for that next hour and a half before my next appointment. Julie stays within her estimates and is by far cheaper than other shops. I've had other shops quote me low to get me in which is irritating. She's up front and honest. Remember there's a difference between cheap and a value. This is a value. Thank you Julie and thank you Brad. -Noah L more

Trusted Auto Repair Service 3/6/2011

I came across Acurrate Auto about a year ago. They had a "free" oil Change coupon that they sent to me. I'm very skeptical about free things but I went any way. julie at the front desk re-assured it was free when I got there. After the oil change I was expecting some sort of add on or up sell, but nothing! She said your car is done and here is your keys. Since then I have brought my car back a few times. Each time she has advised me of what was wrong and actually did not even charge me for labor on one occasion. It is rare to fnd that honest a business in any industry especially auto repair. I highly reccomend this company. They are straight up and will give you the real deal. Just want to say thanks to Acurrate auto for everything. Todd Kono more

honest car repair 3/2/2011

i had deq repairs done here and they were so nice the work was done well.. when my car was dead on the side of the road they sent a tow truck to get me and fixed the car the next day =) now things run so well thanks Julie more

Amazing Service, Top Notch Staff! 2/24/2011

Ever since my wife and I left our mechanic , we have been searching for a mechanic that has integrity and old fashioned good customer service. This is exactly what we found with Accurate Auto. We purchased a used car that needed ALOT of work (unbeknownst to us) and Accurate has been so helpful with not only fixing the issues, but letting us know what the issue was, what could have caused it, and what to look for in the future. They don't only fix, they EDUCATE as well. All in all, this is the place to trust your car too. more

Very satisfied with the service I received when getting my car repaired. Up front, honest, and car was done when they said it would be. Will definitely return when needed for service and repairs. Great Service 2/12/2011

We took our Honda to Accurate Auto of Tualatin, after being referred by several friends that were pleased with their experience. We were extremely impressed with the quality of work and how professionally we were treated. We will definitely return to Accurate Auto of Tualatin in the future for our auto service and repair needs, and advise our friends to go there as well. Extrodinary Customer and Vehicle Service 2/9/2011

This is the place to go if you want an honest evaluation of your vehicle issues and a fair price to correct them. Julie the Facility Manager is very personable and responds quickly to any questions, even if she has to do research and call you back. Brad is a very knowledgeable, well trained technician who really cares about performing quality repairs. He openly explains the reasons why certain parts are required and if you can delay replacement for a while without causing further damage if you can't afford to do the work immediately. more

Best Auto repair ever 2/9/2011

Accurate Auto of Tualatin/Sherwood is the best auto repair shop I have ever came across. I was always hesitant to take my vehicles to any place but the dealership, but a friend recommended I try Accurate Auto so I gave them a try. I found out I have been being ripped off all these years. They are honest, helpful and go beyond what one would expect. Their staff is friendly and have always diagnosed it correctly the 1st time with no hidden agendas. I know it is very important to maintain my vehicles so they last longer and Accurate Auto helps keep me on top of maintenance . more

No pressure! Honest! 2/2/2011

I took my 94 Nissan Sentra to Accurate Auto because it was leaking oil. I had taken it to the dealership and they had told me that it would cost me $400 to fix the leak. Not being able to afford this repair, I shopped around and found Accurate Auto of Tualatin/Sherwood. From the first phone call to the completed repair of my vehicle, I was treated fairly and honestly. They repaired my vehicle for $200 and had me back on the road the same day. I highly recommend Accurate Auto of Tualatin/Sherwood for all of your vehicles needs. more

The Honest Mechanic 9/16/2009

I drive my car all day long for work and if it breaks down I loose money. It is important to me to have a mechanic I trust. I don't want them to upsell me, convince me to do things that are not needed, or treat me like I don't know anything about a car. At Accurate Auto they do none of the above. They tell you what you need, suggest ways to save money, and HELP you make decisions about your car. I will never go anywhere else again. Highly recommend! 9/5/2009

I was definitely sold a lemon by a used dealership, and I my brought car into Accurate Auto about 4 or 5 times within the first month of owning it. Rick and his staff were very understanding and helpful. They talked with me about what was going on with the car, instead of just going ahead, fixing things, and then charging me an arm and a leg. They were very reasonable, friendly guys who treated me with respect and I highly recommend them! Pros: Very friendly, keep you informed Cons: can be difficult due to not being open on weekends more

Great car service in Hillsboro 9/2/2009

Rick Kersey, owner of Accurate Auto, is friendly, professional and stands behind his work. The special coupon booklet was one of the best deals I've ever gotten to help with affordable oil changes and discounts on expensive repairs I've had on my old car. Rick and the mechanics have helped keep my car on the road, and safe, for me and my kids. They've done everything from maintenance to new brakes and even replaced my computer system, all with great results. Lontime customer and will continue to be 9/1/2009

We have been going to Accurate Auto for about three years now. They have always been excellent in the work they do. Their customer service is top notch. I will continue to go to them for as long I am in the Hillsboro area and that will be for years to come. As time changes, there will be different grocery stores, gas stations, schools, etc. One thing we will not have to change is where we take our car and truck - Accurate Auto Harry and Sharon Holsapple Hillsboro OR. Accurate auto has great service and were very friendly. They got my car back on the road when they said they would and for the price they quoted.They were professional and friendly plus they have a 5 year 50,000 mile parts warranty on all repairs. I would strongly suggest going there if you are tired of getting ripped off. Pros: Very personal Cons: none more

Consider this your warning 3/13/2009

Don't take your car here. If you have already taken your car to Inaccurate Auto using their "free" towing, take it to another mechanic NOW. They had our car for a day. After going to the BetterBusinessBureau's website and seeing that there were 8 complaints logged in the last 3 years, we decided to take it out first thing the next morning. Very glad we did. They had diagnosed the problem as it likely being a head gasket (which, by the way, they tried to guilt trip us by saying we caused the problem by running the car hot). We took it to Scottie's down the street (A+ Better Bus. Bureau rating). They had it diagnosed a few hours later and fixed by noon the next day. The end problem: water pump and timing belt kit. We were out the $90 diagnostic fee we had to pay to Inaccurate but it could have been a lot more expensive. Pros: Hmmm...location? Cons: Shady, inaccurate diagnosis more
